Ok #Florida Panthers this is bothering me. All of the reverse retro stuff this season it says 1998 including the inside collar of the jersey. The site says it’s because the palm tree/stick/sun logo first appeared in 1998. But thats not true at all. It has been there I think since the beginning. Or at the very least it’s definitely on the 1996 jersey. So why all the 1998????
I only caught bits and pieces but the clips I saw were insane. The gudas charge probably the worst of them. Update thread title. Also I’ve been waiting for a 6 goal outburst all of last years playoffs we never got. (We only scored 3 against the lightning total). if Lyon regresses to simply being good then we may not win again but man this is there for the taking if he stays hot. Also my medium take is if Bob came in he’d be great because he’s actually getting the healthy rest he needed and expected if Knight was with the team.

I don’t get barkov. Everyone else seems to at least have some space to work but he looks like he’s in a phone booth consistently. Got one assist finally last night and it was a good one but he’s still largely invisible outside the short handed chance.

If this team can simply use the cap to dump some of the leagues worst players and pick up simply below average ones then they can make a run as soon as next year. Barkovs playoff issues continue to be a real concern and really I think we expected more from reinhart too as a guy who could have a breakout couple of games as a star caliber player. Been mostly fine but nothing special.
Refs aren’t the reason the panthers lost, but we now have two intentional hits to the head on panthers players in this series and a total of 1 minor penalty called. Fucking joke.
