this makes such tremendous sense
Why would you spread such treacherous libel against the team in your "fan of" section?
Can anyone drop this?
lorida State’s disappointing 2018 season came to an end on Saturday with a 41-14 loss to Florida. The five win Seminoles missed a bowl game for the first time in 36 years and now the offseason begins. The Willie Taggart Era didn’t get off to the start anyone around the program expected.
Does this mean changes are coming?
I still expect changes to occur among the coaching staff, but nothing will likely happen in the short-term. A source tells me that Willie Taggart plans to take this week to meet with each player on the roster one-by-one. Although the team has improved the overall culture, there are still some holdouts that haven’t bought in yet. Taggart plans to give them the opportunity to either buy-in now or move on.
After meeting with his players, Taggart is expected to sit down with his coaching staff one-by-one as well. There has been no decision on what changes will be made yet, Taggart plans to take some time and evaluate all aspects of his staff before doing so. We’re hearing these meetings with his coaches likely won’t happen this week and probably won’t happen before the early Signing Period on Dec. 19. FSU is putting a priority on recruiting right now and the entire staff is already out on the recruiting trail.Fixing the glaring weaknesses on this team are essential after one of the worst seasons in the modern era of FSU football. Which is why I expect coaching changes will take a back seat to recruiting in the short-term.
2017 was the first year the NCAA introduced the early signing period in December. We saw the new signing period have an impact on the coaching carousel. One of the trends that emerged was that head coaches generally waited until the December dead period began to make changes to their staffs. It makes sense for FSU to wait as well because a coaching shakeup could impact recruiting.
Making a change now means you’ll likely be down a coach on the recruiting trail until after the early signing period. Recruiting is vitally important to FSU this year and a coaching change could have a negative impact in the days leading up to signing day. It’s unlikely FSU would want to make a quick hire because most coaching change around the country won’t occur until the dead period and there will be a bigger pool of available coaches to choose from. All of this leads me to believe we won't see any changes to FSU's staff until after early signing day and possibly after February's signing period as well.
So, a whole lot of nothing. Cool.
His mom should have let him come to Miami so he could complain with Pope
I’m sure the coach’s team who has no discipline will take him seriously.
I haven't followed recruiting closely in a while, but looking at this year's class, am I wrong to say we are doing good but not great? I expected to see us in on a lot of the uncommitted top 100 recruits, but I'm not really finding that. Adding insult to injury is losing Thibodeaux, who was a lock at one point, to Oregon. And we don't seem to have a ton of OL interest.
Am I complaining about known issues here? I assume I am. I thought recruiting was Willie's strong point.
opens up another scholarship for an OL. Don't think anyone will mind.
Thompson is likely a bust like all of Armwood kids anyway.
He was an important recruit until we got abusement park
How have the other Oregon guys been?
Malcom Lamar -
Warren Thompson - transferring
Tre'Shaun Harrison -
Isaiah Bolden -
Tre McKitty -
Harrison and Mckitty are going to be good...
Lamar didnt play
thompson a few snaps but redshirt eligible. did nothing of note
Treshaun Harrison- looked VERY explosive and then we stopped using him for 6 weeks. May have been an injury. His lack of usage midseason was either maturity or injury. I think he has a big time future though
bolden- exceeded my expectations and looked really good early in the year. Got hurt game 2 or 3 and was out for the year so redshirted. I wasnt that high on him when he committed to us before flipping to oregon and didnt care much when we got him again but I was wrong. Think he has a bright future
Mckitty has good playmaking ability. Last 4-6 weeks he just stopped tracking the ball. Saw someone hint he might be feeling effects of a concussion. Looked pretty bad last 1/3 or so of the year but he flashed early. Still feels like a guy capable of more than we have seen from him.
We've taken a step back in everything, just have to accept it. Willie is a decent recruiter but he's no Jimbo.
I love harrison. Mckitty is athletic as hell but has lubed up dicks for hands
Wait. You guys have someone with this nickname?
Well for your sake I hope he turns out better than the five-star Abusement Park we signed in 2013.
Looks like dj is out. Oh well.
Also it looks like the internet just claimed another racist shithead
Good fuck that guy
"dumbster"...unintentional, hilarious accuracy
Lamar and Thompson to transfer?
Lamar is fat. Wasn’t expected to contribute. I wish we would switch him to OL where he’s allowed to be kind of fat and we need help desperately. Haven’t heard anything on him.
Thompson and his parents have said a few things on social media. Who knows. Obviously our season ended poorly and things are being said on social media that would have likely been said previously in a more private setting.
VT isnt bowl eligible yet.
Wow that hurt

we're not going to a bowl game?
That’s correct. The coach FSU hired — who had a career losing record — continued that trend with a 5-7 campaign in his first year at the helm in Tallahassee. HTH.
Harrison is the only one worth a shit
Mckitty can't catch or block or remember how to line up or what is being attempted
Bolden might be good....probably not since all of our dbs are ass
Lol at the armwood kids
McKitty can block. Unfortunately, he likes to stand there and flex and pose after he makes his block.
I like the public pressure, but this seems weird for a president to say, no?
Would guess Willie already has told the coaches that he plans to pink slip or else a lot of his assistants are sweating
Seems risky when they're all out crootin
We don’t have an AD. Comments like these from an AD aren’t that uncommon. Probably didn’t need to go into the coaches.
Is that a big surprise? His resume was pretty weak for a president of a major university from what I recall.
John Thrasher never met a microphone he didn't like.
FSU doesn’t have an AD?
We can’t afford one
You want ours?
Saving money for the buyout.
wilcox took an evp gig with the ncaa a few months ago
