I will I will. I'm playing at work as I took another job and have jack shit to do for another week. I'm gonna have everything simmed and finished by Friday. I pinky promise with a kiss.
Yup. Pre order gets you early access. Also if you owe any previous versions back to 2013; you get a discount as well. New features will be released closer to November. Will be interesting to see what they do.
So how does everyone handle their better youth players? I was of the belief that a loan to a championship level squad or first division squad in a decent nation was better than staying at home in the youth set up. However I'm not sure that's the best and wanted to get some thoughts. Fwiw I am Swansea and am in Europa and through group stages the past two years. Good cup success and training facilities are impressive and youth facilities are superb.
If they're gonna be a key player on loan, then I'll loan them out. Otherwise I keep them on the 2nd team. Michael Orozco just got appointed U23 USMNT coach in year 2022 of my save. Found that funny.
So last season my attendance average was 99%. The only option I have regarding my stadium is to build a new one. I want to say Mix has said that building a new stadium is chaos. Will expand stadium ever come back? Or are some stadiums not capable of being expanded past a certain point? The board did an expansion almost 3 years ago, so not sure if it's just going to show back up after a certain amount of time.
I'm building a new stadium. The first time the city stopped it like 6 months before it was supposed to be complete. Requested again and now I'm about 8 months from it being complete, so we'll see.
You can look in the editor to see if you have reached the max size. If so, you have to hope they will build a new one.
I've got Swansea humming but can't get a win in finals lol. Finished 3rd in league, been to FA Cup Final two years in a row, lost to Spurs both years. Made Europa Final and lost to Liverpool. Champions League should be a challenge but I'm excited about the future with the youth I've brought in. Multiple stadium expansions to a whopping 29K from 22K lol. Bought Moussa Dembele from Fulham and he has dominated for me as has Lucas Romero playing next to Jack Cork.
Big stuff going down in 2023. After a shock double winning the league and dfb pokal last season, I managed to repeat both feats in a much more decisive manner this year. I went 5 full months without losing a match, and only lost 3 all season. Swept Bayern, split Dortmund, and oddly Bremen bookended my undefeated streak. I won the league by 15 points over second-place Dortmund and by 29 points over fifth-place Bayern. In the pokal, I beat Dortmund 4-0 in the final. Finally, in Champions League, I lost to Inter in the Quarterfinals on a 3-2 aggregate. June saw my brand new 38,000 seat stadium completed, an upgrade over an 11,000 seat stadium. Sadly a fucking 15 year $2.5 million stadium sponsorship remains. One of my two star strikers had a really bad season, he didn't score until October, so I sold him to City for 72 million (laughingly more than they paid for Aguero). I've replaced him with someone the media calls the next Roberto Bettega and who his teammates compare to Romelu Lukaku. I've also purchased a 38 year-old Cristiano Ronaldo on a year's contract for 3.4 million. And thanks to my maxed out training facilities and youth coaching, I finally have a decent two-deep at every position. I stopped playing FM 2011 when Hereford made it to the prem, thinking it'd be stale now that I'd made it. But I was completely wrong. Having a top team is a ton of fun.
Thats all you give us you Danish fuck? Spill the beans on how it is. Also stop talking bad about Clemson peeps. It's rude and unbecoming and if I was on you I'd be cumming.
not many to be honest. you can promise players things now when you sign them. I've only played a season and i didnt get into too much detail. I like it not too different though. Theres a lot of shitty clemson posters. You're of course not included.
Think I'm going to start a new save in FM17. Wanting to do a lower league build up, and not in England. Any good recommendations?
Started a new save not too long ago...Decided to do the unemployment route and do a bit of a journeyman until I find a home I really enjoy. First job is Stirling Albion in the Scottish League 2. We gained promotion via the playoffs. So far in League 1 we seem a bit light on talent and have started with a struggle. Board expecting nothing but staying up. So far it's been enjoyable.
In Year 3 with Parma. Won promotion year 1, then made playoff year 2. Pretty sure it's January of season 3 and the team is currently top of the table. Team is broke as a joke so I haven't been able to fix up anything, luckily a lot of the club is doing ok since they were Serie A only a few years ago before going bankrupt.
Mostly just ride it out. On one occasion that I took a new job, I just made it a separate save so I could play both timelines.
Typically have stayed at one club but in gonna force myself to not do that with the journeyman save im on. Im gonna work on trying to take Stirling Albion to the Scottish Premiership and maybe a year or two there to see if I can stay up and then head out. We made it to the Championship but are not nearly strong enough to push for promotion or playoff this year, at this point just hoping to stay put.
I remember they really sucked in a previous save, and this is my first save in 17 and they are struggling in year 4. When I interviewed I was down at the idea, but then looked at their squad
So I'm just about done with season 4 with Parma. Survived in Serie A, should finish between 10-14(projected 20th). Hoping they board gives me a little more transfer money to add a few pieces, but I got a lot of good youth coming through in the near future. Hoping I can hold onto a lot of them before they get poached by Juve/Milan
At the end of February in year 3 of my time at Stirling Albion. Expected to be horrible and shocked we've been pretty decent. Got a great agreement with Hearts that provided an awesome keeper, a ball winning midfielder and attacking mid that have been huge for us. We are in a playoff spot at 4 in the table but that's a bit misleading as number 3 to 8 are sperated by 3 points so we've been floating from 8-5 pretty regularly.
Ended up taking Stirling Albion to the Scottish Premiership after we got bought by a local businessman. Sold a young prospect and retained a good bit of the transfer funds. Finished the first year in the premiership at 10th, second year I was in and out of euro qualification when Carpi in Serie B offered. Split my saves and ended up taking the Carpi job.
So I just won Serie A in year 22/23. Also made a deep Europa league run, losing to Liverpool in the quarterfinals. Boardroom just announced they're installing underground heating, which I didn't know was a thing they could do. Knew it's part of the game but figured it was part of building a new stadium. They didn't give me a whole lot of transfer money, but I also have the board philosophy to build through the youth. Probably get wrecked in CL
I wasnt feeling Carpi and ended up going back to Stirling Albion for a few more years and got them to Champions League where we got to the group stage and proceeded to get beat by 3-5 goals every match. Finally left Albion and ended up going to Millwall while they were in the Championship. This is our first year in the PL and are sitting 12th at the moment. Mid table would be a solid finish but we've been hit by the injury bug as of late and my depth is shit.
I'm in like year 2023, and was looking around to see where certain players were in the save. Ousmane Dembele currently plays for Chelsea and is making 300,000/week....
Fired up my MK Dons save after a long time not playing and have battled out of the relegation zone with 4 wins, 2 ties and no losses in my last 6. I've got City, Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal and then 14th place West Ham to finish the season and I'm in 15th and only 3 points from safety.
Still going to try and hold out for a few points in the meantime and we will see what it looks like the game or two before West Ham.
Post the results. This is going to end up with me starting another save. It's gonna be Hereford or Coventry City.
I'm currently like 10 seasons in with Parma. Have yet to make it past the CL Quarters, but I've won Serie A two years in a row
My best player has been bitching for almost the last 2 calendar years about leaving, and I've offered him out for double his value(he's under contract for a while, and very good). He's withdrawn the request two times, the 2nd time I signed him to a huge new contract, and then at the end of the season he requested to leave again. It's such a pain, but whatever. Plus I got a wonderkid that I bought as his replacement a season ago so I'm ready for his departure when someone finally bids.
Will do. I only played the City game and lost 2-1 after going up 1-0 early. I'll keep you guys updated on the race as it plays out.
