Just finished episode 4. I think this is highly entertaining and really well done. The acting has been very good and the score is also something that sticks out. it seemed to get mediocre reviews, but I’m really enjoying it.
Been kinda hate watching this with my brother over the break. Had some pretty good fan fic going and was dead on for a couple big moments. I will keep watching.
Started watching this. Really enjoyed Episode 1. Had gone through a stretch reading a bunch of books on NASA, so it was really interesting to me.
Did anyone finish season 1? I made it 5 eps and gave up. Heard some great things about season 2 so I’m thinking about jumping back in. Thoughts?
I enjoyed it There is a little bit left to be desired but think its worth investing in given Apple already ordered a Season 3. Season 1 is a 7/10 but could have easily been a 9. Music is good. Lots of places they can take the plot.
I'm glad season 2 is here. I'll have to subscribe to apple tv+ again to watch it. I was a huge space nerd as a kid. I could name every Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo mission and astronaut and probably watched Apollo 13 and From the Earth to the Moon a thousand times. Loved the premise and production of this show even with it's ups and downs.
Nearly all the way caught up (just one more EP in season 1 to go). Felt like it’s been really good in the episodes since I picked it back up. Excited to see there this all goes. Love the music like Fran Tarkenton said

Spoiler: episode 8 this episode was pretty awful until the last few minutes. Everything about the Karen/gordo’s kid storyline was cringey as shit. Also don’t care about Kelly’s 10 minute lunch near her dad. Just so much seemingly useless storytelling until the final scene where all hell breaks loose. Thought they’d save the first space gun battle for the season finale, but here we are.
Yeah I leas just do not care about the Karen storyline at this point. That said, I cannot wait for these last two eps. Review I read (and I think posted in here) was that the final 2 were two of the most thrilling final two hours of tv in a while. And I can see that coming.
3 eps in and really enjoying this. is there a reason they changed Gordo's name? I tried to google it and I think I spoiled myself so I didn't read any further. just something that caught my attention because I had watched The Right Stuff on D+ not long ago.
I think it was so they could follow one astronaut that was real, and then change his path without it really being him, if that makes sense.
They did that with a few astronauts that were featured characters. Made the name similar to invoke the IRL person but allowed them to make them different. They keep the names the same for historical astronauts that aren't featured in the story. Ex. Neil Armstrong, Sally Ride, John Glenn, etc.
finished season 2 last night. I really enjoy this show, but I rolled my eyes a bit at the sudden political turns at the end. really gonna miss Tracy and Gordo, honestly not sure how the show fills that gap. they were two of the best characters - probably my top 3 with Margo. also, poor Margo.
Yea, a show that had masterfully built up so much drama has it all explode because the president saw two astronauts shake hands in space was so laughably cheesy. Nevermind that you had two excellent characters sacrifice when in reality, all it would have taken was a phone call to russia where they say, "hey, we know you are currently in the middle of a hostile takeover, but our nuclear reactor is about to blow, mind if we go fix it real quick so everyone on the moon doesn't die? It was an outstanding finale, right up until the climax.
Man. The S1 to S2 180 from liking Tracy and not liking Gordo to hating Tracy and loving Gordo is real.
Just got Apple TV a few weeks ago; now all caught up with this series Really liking it, despite so many main characters/astronauts going rogue. That's not too plausible Karen is a perfect name for Karen
Just caught up with this. S2 Finale was incredible. Watching it the day after watching Top Gun I have learned that following orders is optional and nothing matters
Man. Need to finish season 2. The pedophile angle in season 2 made me completely lose interest in the show and I quit watching with like 3 episodes left.
