Holy shit. The internet is speculating that it may have something to do with his father's murderer. Awful stuff.
Pure speculation, but apparently his father was killed and the person got off with basically nothing.
Same guy that Gameday (or some other outlet) did the story about how he would go have lunch with a special needs kid at a local school, right?
I'm not saying it's true, it was just the internet's initial reaction. I don't recall him ever having any discinplinary issues. He probably wouldn't even be in my top 10 of potential killers from the title team!
Allegedly had an argument with person earlier. Went home got a gun. Came back and shot him. Someone on Warchant said rumor is he got into an argument with his girlfriend and came back later and her brother was there and it escalated.
i guess it really is the silent ones you need to watch out for.. his playing days were during the time when I watched interviews consistently. Seemed like a level-headed kid absolutely heartbroken to hear this news about a former Jimbo Fisher recruit and player Dump
Warchant update. "They were in the driveway, he went back in the house to grab an AR15 and then unloaded it on them."
He would have been one of the least likely I would have thought would ever do something like that. Crazy sad.
Your post is worth making at any point...but this particular issue could have happened with literally any gun.
I don’t know what the guy who got killed’s 40 time or 3 come drill are compared to Rudolph, but if Rudolph came out of the house with a revolver and 30 feet of distance between them I’d give the guy a much better chance of dodging 6 shots from a revolver than dodging a full magazine from an AR-15.
devil's advocate: a revolver is a lot easier to hide under your shirt until you're standing arm's length away from someone
I should say, I'm not advocating for ARs here, or ever, just pointing out that fewer ARs means fewer guns in general is great. But it's not really relevant to this situation. He could have just as easily stabbed the guy in the throat.
Yeah. I think he was maybe our #1 for one year but it was basically because we had a bag of dicks for depth at WR. I can remember 2 or 3 plays he made his entire career.
I mean, he's from WPB, former players don't always have the best circumstances to go home to when they're done playing.
