I’m loving the mini gun especially to destroy frantic spur of the moment constructions

 

No, it not single console co-op. Very few games still do that unfortunately

 

Hunting rifle sounds great

 

i downloaded this and played a few games. finished 4th in my second or third game. it's pretty fun but if i didn't know anything about it prior i never would have guessed it would be as popular as it is.

 

Downloaded and been trying it out for the last few hours, placed second once and top 5 a handful of times, most of the time I make it to top 20 because I hide and bide my time. Been trying to usually land at the ice cream truck if I can help it.

 

Its amazing what a dev team that cares can do for a game.

i fired 7 shots at a guy with a blue one and hit him twice. from like 10 feet away.

It’s amazing. Don’t use it like it’s a shotgun tho, use it like a sniper. I’ve had 3 or 4 100 meter plus snipes with it and multiple in the 30-75 range. It’s got a lot of added zoom so shooting up close is gonna be tricky

Blues are one shot head shots. Use it like a sniper wrt ranges that seem far for ARs. It shoots like a laser beam and gets aim assist. Basically, engage with it 50 meters plus, like a sniper

Yes it has bloom, but also seems like the most aim assist in the game

 

I won a game today with my squad wth the hunting rifle from 75 yards out. They're fun but they're definitely weird to use at first. The angle you have when you look down the sights is off to the right.

been slowly increasing sensitivity over the last week or two. up almost at 9 now. game feels so much better now.

 

Bought the playstation gold headsets so I can hear footsteps...but now I can't find an option that let's me play sound through the TV and my headphones at the same time. TV is in the living room, so it would be nice to not have it silent when my roommate is watching. Am I missing a setting somewhere?

 

yes. i can't remember how but there is a way to do it through the settings

 

Also, fuck whatever person thought having to get 7 chests in wailing was a good idea. I want to throw my controller right now trying to get this

 

Drop in by yourself in a squad. Or do squad no fill. No squad goes to WW because it's a shit place for multiple people. You'll have better luck than trying to land there in solos.

i'll add you. we try to get a squad together at night more often than not.

 

I’ve been seeing 2-3 squads going to the center of the maze almost every time.

 

It was better than solo, though. My experience was 20+ people every time there

 

You might find a group of people doing the challenge but solos is a straight murder fest

 

There's a shack outside of wailing that counts as a chest as well, you can look up how to do it in YouTube

 

Just downloaded and played a game. Think i got top 50 bc I took forever to land. Then I got shotgunned in the back of the head by some dude wearing reptar on his head. I did build one wall and chop down a few

Using the mini gun to destroy a huge build then watching the people fall to their deaths never gets old

 

Yeah this took me almost 10 games to complete. Multiple landings where they were all opened by other players the moment I landed. Finally got lucky with the last 3 chests bc no one else landed there. What you can do to make it a little easier is play the limited time mode (solid gold) no fill and hope none of the other squads land there.

 

i'll just wait a few weeks and everyone will be over it

I was just in a match with Bwidd and a couple of his pals and we came up on a hill overlooking tilted. There were two teams fighting on the ground and my squad was taking pot shots at distance wit ARs and I was like “fuck this let’s get closer” moved in to a closer rooftop and knocked two, built down with my shotgun and knocked another and then got blasted by the last guy. Go to the death screen and see that these guys were just then deciding to move down because I went down. Every guy I knocked was w/o shield because of the prior fight. Easy kills. I fuckin raged to the lobby. Fuck those guys

 

by comparison i'm more like "i just heard gunfire. it sounds fun. i'm running toward it."

 

Downloaded game on PC this past weekend.
1) my computer can barely handle it
2) building is much harder than it looks
3) game is pretty fun
4) I suck
