look at the thing you want to edit and hold circle. after that it will bring up a weird edit menu and you just kind of have to know which patterns make what

 

Yeah so I get it to bring up the little 9 square menu but I don't know how to actually change anything from there or what to press to actually get it to edit.

 

A door is two squares in the middle. The very bottom square and the one above it.
R2 to map it out square to confirm

 

r2 to toggle on/off. i think you press circle again to confirm, not sure. maybe r3? i think it actually says it on screen.

and here's what you can do with a wall

 

depends on controller layout i guess

 

Make sure to make your roof a ramp. It confuses your enemies and leads to easy kills as they marvel at your unorthodox building

just checked. hold circle to edit. then you can r2 over what you want to toggle. or hit r3 to reset to original state. then hit circle to confirm the edit.

 

And that's just with the default controls?

 

I would be using builder pro if I were you, building is so much faster and easier imo.

 

i use builder pro. no clue on default.

 

Dear diary, I've been holding out on trying builder pro, but I guess I should go ahead and give it a whirl because I'm no good as it is. Maybe I'll build cooler shit before I get pew-pewed.

I keep finishing in the 80s and 90s trying to drop into Tilted...fuck me

 

You'll learn the hard but fast way to fight by dropping Tilted. You'll get an opportunity to breathe and learn to build in Moisty (although that has become slightly more popular).

The Epic rep's comment in that reddit thread spoke about damage being in decimal places. So the guy was down between 99.1 and 99.9 hp.

 

But.. 4 + 96 = 100

Just seems like 100 should be 100

I may never get the trap kill one now that it's 75 damage, got 3 trap hits the last 4 games but didn't kill em

somehow got the 3 circle one, didn't think id get that

 

I’ve gotten one. Didn’t do shit with it and was murked soon after (which is normal). But I watched the guy who killed me and looks like it comes in pretty handy towards the end once everyone is in their own structures. Can just boost up to the top of it without having to build up.

 

I found it useful for flying from building to building in Tilted and then unexpectedly running out of gas and dying from a long fall.

Down somebody, build 4 walls around them, then place the trap. My first attempt at this didn't work. I put the walls and trap down, but the final guy on their team died in the storm as soon as my spikes were shooting out

 

trying to do solo squads is a tall task for me haha

 

Just do regular squads

 

since I don't play with anyone i've found that to be the most miserable experience

players either always wanna drop immediately or don't drop together

but ill try it

Had a 5 kill game this morning which was my best so far. Finished top 3 in a game yesterday

 

Could just be iPad users are dumb, like have the ones who land and start wailing away on roofs and ignore someone landing next to them. They're good for an easy kill or two
