Won 4 on Tuesday, and I think 3 last night... Been a good run this week. However; I'm pretty salty about YouTubers telling everyone to hit up my favorite drop locations. Direct correlations between the video linked, and crowds. Considering I've pretty much learned all of this shit on my own, it's a little frustrating. That said, these videos have also made the actual towns much less contested, so I've been hitting up named spots much more frequently. ALSO, finally, I always liked the shipping container spot, but didn't know there were only 5 chest spawns in Tomato Town. That's bad considering there's 8 at the shipping containers. Edit: This is also pretty helpful... http://www.fortnitechests.info/
few thoughts battle pass is one of the better deals in microtransactions solo squads is fun as shit i've gotten so much better watching ninja and dakota
Ninja? I won 2 solos in a row between last week and this week. Felt pretty good. Gotten to the point where I get top 10 in most of them.
I have never and probably will not ever play this game, but watching Fortnite on Twitch is fun as hell. Dudes I followed from Destiny seem to be killing it. I watched Krafty snipe some dude while riding a rocket the other day.
You should play it at least once. I suck at it, but it's still fun. After you get killed, the camera follows whoever killed you until they get killed, then the camera follows them, etc. I suck at building, so I suck at this game.
Coming from Destiny this has been so refreshing. Constant minor content updates, quick fixes of broken items, continual communication, and listening to what the player base wants for future updates.
Game is fucking additive as shit. Haven't played 2k in a week. Won a few matches with friends. Typically always finish Top 3 with them. Getting better at building quickly is the biggest key.
I'd just land in the northwest most building and either go east or south along the coast depending on the circle. Easy uncontested loot. Looks like south of Moisty will be my spot now
Per this thread's OP, tomorrow. https://www.epicgames.com/fortnite/...554-fortnite-map-update-new-city-release-date ETA: Others say today, but I just checked and it hasn't come out as of 530AM Tuesday. If it's going to be the same time as above on Tuesday, that would be like 7 hours from now, which is 1230 PM EST.
Pro tip: if you're in the attic of a building trying to decide what to keep/drop/etc after opening a chest, do not accidently toss a grenade. ur welcome
I'm wondering what the deal with Moisty Mire will be now, because I always thought the most sparse area in the game was the coastline just north of Moisty to Lonely. The race track house and cabanas had good loot, but other than that it was pretty baron.
I love that they did that. Got 5th in my first solo game today, but really feel like I fucked it up getting a little too loot happy trying to loot one of my kills when I knew enemies were nearby.
My biggest problem in fortnite is not being able to see things well enough. Here's the things i can think of that could be causing that: 1. My glasses are a couple of years old. 2. Im usually pretty high when i play. Then again, thats my default state. 3. I play on console. But i would play on potato if i played on pc. Just ran up on a bush with some loot around it. Apparently a guy was in there too. Fun stuff. Should have seen it.
I'm usually a couple beers deep at least, and I have a similar problem. However; when I'm not so freaking loot thirsty and play patiently it seems to work out alright. Have you tried playing more passive and engaging on your terms only? Granted sometimes folks will get the jump on you, but if you're actively thinking that way it may be beneficial. I'm speaking in solo of course.
I still haven’t built anything. Need to work on it because getting a sniper rifle and heading to the roof tops seems legit. I’m getting pretty hooked on the game. Came in second a few more times last night. I could have won one but I got greedy and was picking up the loot from the 3rd place guy I killed and got shot before I could heal up.
Was the game glitch/laggy for anybody else yesterday? Played a few rounds; during one I was going through a house and came to an open door, crept inside to see a dude crouching, pointing a gun towards me. Quickly shot at him...he didn't move. Shot him over and over again in the head...all while he was still crouching. No damage. Ended up leaving the room, then boom glitch forward and I'm dead. I assume that the game glitched right when crouching dude shot me in the dome, but I dunno. Had another couple times where the game just locked up and exited.
i play on combat pro, on xbox. big gripe with my friends and not wanting to play single player is because you cant use combat pro. control schemes shouldn't matter on pc, should they? cant you map everything yourself?
