Nope. I’m not sure I could restrain myself from saying something unkind to/about Elliott. I’m sure he is a swell fellow in real life.
Elliott is good people IMO. He's quite active & interacts regularly. There are quite a few members I do not get along with (shocking to you all I'm sure)

$5... way better content. The people posting regularly are very Rival-esque, but its entertaining. A few guys contribute all the Statsbomb stuff. I'm a huge fan
Life hack, if you signed up to Arseblog Discord prior to canceling the sub, you still keep it afterward. I have access to both, but am only paying for AV
Well I fell asleep during the first half but based upon the thread, I missed nothing. What I did see we looked like shit out of the back and through the middle. Conceded a goal that wasn't that horrible, by recent form standards, and were down 1-0 coming into the second. In the second we clearly looked miles better, strung together passes, looked quicker, won the ball frequently through effort and positioning. Basically what we haven't seen in the league since last season. Also I think Fred's squad selection was fantastic. Finally got that Hector/Tierney pairing we all wanted and now they're all niggled up. Martinelli MOTM IMO. Great offensively and tracked back noticeably defensively. I think AMN greatly benefitted as a result. Oh and Chambers looked efficient through the middle. To me there is no reason he shouldn't be in the middle until he strings together quite a few shit shows.
Playing people in their natural position > Playing actual wingers > Playing 72m signings > Not playing Luiz > Playing West Ham >
Is Martinelli our most valuable asset currently? Like if this was expansion style, he would be who we protect over everyone else right?
Chambers needs to start every game Ozil was pretty awful, hopefully get Dani back soon and rotate them. Not sure what other option we have.
I assume hector is out for a month and Tierney probably rest of the season I’ll be very pleasantly surprised if either are earlier
Ozil did play a key role in 2 of the 3 goals. Reiss and Emile have been so unlucky with injures. Both are natural #10s
Chambers' long balls to the wing were also significantly better than what we've seen from Luiz, send his ass to China
Didn’t finish the second half til later. That 10-minute blitz was awesome. Xhaka and Sokratis were fucking awful. Özil was mostly useless too. We’d be so much better off if that was Ramsey.
I wish we could move on from Ozil to a more complete player too but Ramsey’s played 7 games in Serie A so far.
Paulo Sousa? can't say I remember much about his season with Swansea or his 3 month stint with Leicester, both in the Championship.
I don’t disagree but if it’s a shorter term appointment (6- or 18-months) might make a lot of sense. Either of A) there’s someone they want long-term next summer or B) they think Freddie is the guy in 2 years time.
To jump on Arse and Gunner's train, just pick a fucking direction and ride with it. Make a fucking decision one way or the other.
Sousa? Portuguese? Hopefully not a Jorge Mendes client. We could do a lot worse than Ancelotti, might should have hired him the first time around. Agree that it is hopefully on a shorter contract.
