An eyeball test had me leaning a small unit play on nd but then i looked at the numbers and splits and don't see how Alabama puts up more than 14 points tomorrow night. Great value on ND. Its the right play.

so how did you all do? I don't gamble and don't know shit about it so I don't understand "units" and stuff. Did you all make or lose money? Not talking shit just curious.
"units" is the amount a person bets. so if a little taste for them is $10, +1 units is $10. If you're only dealing in thousands, it's the same percentage gain, but higher monetary gain obviously. so people who followed sem made 8x whatever their minimum bet was. Or someone betting a minimum of $10 per game made $80 on about $2000 in bets.
Terrible capping last night. Put too much stock in Notre Dames red zone defense. Still ended up plus money for the bowl season and the system hit at over 64%. Anything over 60% is considered outstanding. Picks in the thread ended up 24-20, +7.9 units.
Not sure if that last part is tongue in cheek, but you're silly if you think th system wasn't very successful for the sixth year in a row.
i just explained it in terms a non-bettor would understand. +8 units means you win 8 times your 1 unit (minimum) play. The units bet were around 100 by my count. so it should have been on $1000 in bets, not $2,000 as I typoed.
HA! I'm glad I didn't go with the sheet on that one. Great job and I really enjoyed playing along. Think I at least watched a half of every bowl game this year and your sheet was a big reason for it.
Also, these threads from the gambling board are some of my favorite threads. I dont post much, but most come in these threads, because its always cool/fun to talk to other people about making money. Even when people disagree its cool that its all civil and what not.
