I played football against a bunch of Pacific Islanders. Went to church with them, family functions….just fantastic folk.
It’s almost worse/more embarrassing the fact that he dominated that dude and didn’t even have to swing once. Calling big boy a “fat bitch” while he’s graciously choosing to spare you from those heavy-ass hands might be one of the dumbest decisions I’ve seen in a long time. But clearly pride has led the long-haired kid to some pretty terrible choices.
Yeah if someone you were talking shit to just tosses you on the ground and sits on you making you physically helpless, you should start apologizing and calling him sir. That dude is really big and can do some damage if he started raining down hammer fists.
watching people not realize they consistently stereotype Pacific Islanders is never not weird. it ends up being "Asian people are good at math" stuff.
I wasn't directing that post specifically at you but it's more like Pacific Islanders seem to maintain a specific reputation and let's be real it's a completely stereotyped reputation. they're gentle giants and if they're not being nice they're making John Wick shit his pants. not every Pacific Islander can fight, not every Pacific Islander likes to fight, they're nice, they're rude, they're exactly like everyone else. like I said, it's the positive stereotyping which, while better than negative stereotyping, still isn't something we should do. I just find that people subconsciously do it to Pacific Islanders more than anyone else these days.
I’ve never taken a paternity test so idk maybe it’s normal to test the grandparents. But, I assume to learn the grandfather isn’t the dad’s father they would have to had to have been tested.
The story was that they took the DNA test and the wife also did one of those 23 and me test hoping to find a connection with someone in the families that had green eyes. When they got the 23 and me results the husband paternal matches came back to a bunch of people that the husband does not know.
im the only one in my immediate family with green eyes. It was always a joke about the milk man with me. My folks do have green and blue eye genes in their extended families.
I’m on Team Green Eyes, too…unless I wear certain shades of blue, and then they change to blue. Do you also have excellent night vision?
I’ve worn glasses since I was 8 years old. Girls did use to call me Gato if that counts. I was always described as “homeboy with the pretty eyes and good hair “ lol if you know me IRL you know I wear glasses every second I’m awake. I own like 8 pairs of glasses.
I was thinking she might’ve submitted her DNA to one of those ancestry-tracing sites. Wasn’t sure if that would be relevant to the case tho. Looked through the link and saw this post:
Same. I have green eyes and have worn glasses since 4th grade and all day every day now. Never wanted contacts or anything. I like wearing glasses.
I’ll never understand the Jeep cult. They are dogshit vehicles. How they have a cult following is baffling. Basically the Trump of car companies.
They are made in America, can go places most vehicles can't, can be configured in different ways daily for a different driving experience, and are fun as shit to drive. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to know why people would enjoy that over a Kia. Sorry your car is boring.
aren't most major car brands sold in america ... ya know ... made in america? i know my honda was made in marysville, ohio
Yes. So it comes down to: "Do I want my $40k to go to mostly American workers and a bit to foreign white collar workers, or do I want my money to go American blue collar workers AND white collar turds"?
the pro move is making them overseas, disassembling them, shipping them to the US, then reassembling them here and calling it "American Made" lookin at you Mercedes/Volvo in Charleston
