“Attention prayer warriors, please pray for the family of David Duke. He is such an affable and gregarious person who loved God, was humble and would help absolutely anyone white who needed it!”
When people say nobody changes opinions on the internet this board is Exhibit A that that's bullshit. Lot of people changed their views over the years.
I’ll say this- there’s a relative lack of animosity on this board and posts are generally insightful, smart or self deprecating. I found out about tmb from a Rutgers bro I met in 2009. I think he told me it started after a couple of guys were dissatisfied with the paid services…would be cool for there to be a history page for the board.
Why do you say that? I’ve read the board through most of that time, albeit I stuck to lurking on the Rutgers board.
Do not go back and read 2009 posts because it's a distilled version of a bunch of white college kids from red states. Everybody grew up and post 2015 especially the politics here have drastically shifted left because the right went mask off. No more attempts at illusions of anything but racism et al. The jerkoffs and shitposters were all eventually runnoft, thus, the current dynamic. This board is also unusually educated because of the beginnings so that's why the discussion is usually at least mildly informed and reasonable.
Just anecdotally, the progression of a lot of ppl online from right of center to more progressive views is encouraging. Unfortunately, it often takes several years and horrible actions by Rs in DC to make the reality of things clearer.
is he as crazy in real life as he is online i remember in HS he came to the unc board and posted this long breakdown about how rutgers was easily going to beat the 2009 unc team that ended up winning the title
But because every other poster is a lawyer you have to withstand a bunch of fucking pedantry to post here.
Makes sense. That timeline generally reflects my own. It feels like most of the posters here are somewhere between 30 to 40, male, well-educated. I think we’ve all had a steep learning curve the last 10 years.
Yea, that sounds like something he would do lol. I don’t really know him outside of a couple RU meet ups, but he seems like a perfectly normal guy whose just delusional about his teams.
How dare they want a better life and not know the ins and outs of America's immigration system. It's on them for not having that info readily available in their native language.
I think one of my favorite things is a friend or family member asking for “prayer warriors”. Not that there’s anything wrong with praying for a sick friend or family member but they’ll post it on Facebook like it’s the bat signal.
And invariably the prayer warriors are being called upon to ask for God’s grace and kindness for a person who calls Covid the “China virus” and blames it on “illegal aliens” crossing the border.
Tbh if she died they’d probably be pushing more bullshit on their friends and family out of spite and anger. Now we have another voice with a personal compelling message and probably an audience.
This is what happens when you so desperately need to own the libs, everything becomes politicized and facts don't matter. I wont shed a single tear for any of these fucks.
Yeah so he may have quit his job but he can get another just like it very easily. Welders are always in demand.
I went to high school with a guy who is now a conservative radio host and race track announcer. His whole family of 6 kids and pregnant wife just got COVID and she had to be put on a vent and have an emergency C-section. She isn't going to make it, she's 26. Yes, from my hometown of 9,000 I know of TWO pregnant women who were unvaccinated, got COVID and had to deliver while on a vent.
lol he needs to quit being such a pussy. He deserved it for idolizing the piece of shit Pauls. He’ll be able to get a job in a day as a welder
