they believe racist assholes who lied to them when it came to the evils of poc now they believe those assholes when comes to the virus and the vaccine. If they were stupid pos assholes who look to and believe hate mongering racist assholes they might still be alive . Fuck them.
This is where I’m at. All of us have done the right thing for over a year and just want to get back to some sense of normalcy, but we can’t because of these people. If their deaths due to their stupidity leads to us getting to live life like we used to for the most part, I’m all for it, and if I can point at their arrogance that leads to their stupidity which leads to their deaths, all the better.

My empathy lies with the children too young to get the vaccine and the immunocompromised. These selfish ignorant anti-vaxxers are putting their lives in danger. Every time one of them dies, the country becomes a safer (not to mention more educated) place. Not to mention, these deaths will hopefully convince a handful of people to get vaccinated. Thus it’s a positive feedback loop. I feel bad for the spouses and kids of the anti vax crew. But I don’t feel bad for the individual at all.
In all honesty, a couple celebrities/athletes getting got might be the thing that gives us the push we need to get vaccine numbers closet to where they need to be.
I think it’s funny that it’s almost never just straight up “Covid killed them,” it’s always “complications from” or “double pneumonia as a result of.” Just a little pedantic coping.
