No, but it’s been in place for his entire life and some of the most heinous parts of it have come to light not too long ago.
Everyone but me and our preschooler got super sick these last couple of weeks. Everyone PCR'd multiple times as negative except the asymptomatic preschooler who was positive. Entire preschool class got hit, including unvaxxed teachers. Most families also got sick but also tested positive whereas we didn't. Super bizarre.
This is what I struggle to understand. They're obviously scared of covid as they'll take anti malaria or horse dewormers, but they won't take the vaccine that's designed to prevent covid. Imagine how demoralizing it must be in your last few moments knowing you gave up your life to support your political party.
I understand what you're saying and there is some merit to it. I wouldn't feel comfortable celebrating the death of someone who overdosed or even a gang member who died of street violence due to the drug trade. So I'm not really sure why I feel comfortable with this thread.

Diseases of despair and the natural results of systemic and generational poverty are a tragedy and can be fixed to a large extent with not too much effort. But both of those first things mostly come as a result of those issues and/or racism. This is people refusing to take a free life saving shot because they've been radicalized by the internet. These things are different so that's probably why you feel differently about them.

COVID-19 was the number one cause of death for officers in 2020 as well. The report said that from January 1 through June 30, a total of 155 officers died in the line of duty. Of those deaths, 71 were from COVID-19. That number was higher than the number of officers who lost their lives due to firearm and traffic-related incidents combined. As the Delta variant continues to spread across the country, the organization said they expect the number of COVID deaths to rise during the final six months of the year. Last week, 22 officers around the country died from COVID-19, New Jersey State Police Superintendent Col. Patrick Callahan pointed out during a September 13 press briefing. He cited a reluctance to get vaccinated as the reason for the deaths. While elected officials have tried to enact vaccination mandates for officers, they have been with fierce resistance from police unions across the country. “I do think the reluctance to get vaccinated has contributed,” Callahan said, adding, “I don’t think I could land on any other conclusion there.”
