If you have a religion that has different sects...how does that exactly work? You share the same religion but judge how the other sect worships and frown upon their differences, so basically cults within your religion? Okay. Got it. Totally normal.
“If anybody thinks Ohio won't vote Red in 22 and 24...you can forget it. I went to a showing today of a healthy guy who died at 50 with Covid. His mom, sister, and my wife and I were the only ones in masks in the whole church.” -Struggler’s dad (married to Jeremy’s aunt)
I can't even wrap my brain around this. I thought I could maybe finally go maskless once my 9 year old is vaccinated, but there are just too many careless fucksticks out here.
Papal infallibility means the Pope cannot err on issues of faith and the church when made ex cathedra. There have been two ex cathedra teachings: the Immaculate Conception and the Assumption of Mary. Papal pronouncements not made ex cathedra are considered authoritative but not infallible.
Quick question since you obviously know more about this than I do. But, since the pope has said there is no reason why Catholics can’t take the vaccine doesn’t that mean If you’re catholic you can’t use your religion to get an exception? Or am I misunderstanding something?
that’s how I understand it. Basically sounds like “don’t use Catholicism as a crutch and get the vaccine” to me…
The Pope went even further than that. I believe he called it a moral obligation and an act of love. But yes, in my opinion his statements should preclude any religious exemption for Catholics, although there are American Bishops who disagree.
Have any of these idiots questioned the fact that their source for all of their news (Fox News) on not getting vaxxed is in a city where people in the office are forced to be vaccinated?
Most of the orthodoxies are considered Catholic and don’t follow the pope (except for the Byzantine Orthodox Church that actually does follow the pope iirc) Edit - didn’t realize this convo was from last night.
I went to a very religious memorial service on Monday (died of Cancer, not Covid), and the entire church was full. There were two people wearing masks - myself (N95) and a co-worker. We both already have the booster since we were vaxxed the first day it was offered in our state through work, and we both due for the booster when it first rolled out. My state is peaking on positivity right now - seems like very few people are acknowledging that.
I'd suggest a full regiment of silver suppositories and ivermectin from Tractor Supply to ensure robust protection from COVID and bacterial infections.
I'm starting to see why people find anti-vaxx arguments so compelling. I'd like to see you shitlib pro-Vaxxers try to counterattack this one. She's a former host on TruNews, whatever that is. For those playing 'what state is this covid-iot from?' bingo, this one covers the hard to get Delaware square.
Steve Shurden, 58, Tulsa, OK, RN - Travel Nurse, anti-v axx poet, dead from COVID. According to his wife's social media post (below), Steve passed away from COVID on October 19, 2021. He leaves behind his wife Teresa, and their two daughters. Steve was a registered nurse who worked for Trustaff nurse staffing. Teresa was also a nurse as a Licensed Vocational Nurse. They had recently purchased a new touring RV just before Steve caught COVID. I think they'd planned to travel the country and help newly opened clinics or something. Both Steve and Teresa were/are adamant anti-vaxxers as you'll see. Steve loves to write politically charged poems and was about to publish a book of his right-wing Trumparian poems. Too bad that didn't happen ;) Let us establish the "anti" in anti-vaxxer. I doubt they're sorry though. He wrote several of these each day... Somehow the Facebook bot caught this one...despite Steve being a savvy cock as he says: Spoiler He hated the mandates, obviously... I think they wanted to help start anti-vaxxer clinics while sporting their new RV... He lost his friend Hector to COVID. Did that sway him to get vaccinated? Nope. His death was due to "Healthcare Genocide"... Ah, the dreams they had that won't be realized... Let's check on his wife Teresa and see what she thinks... Well, she posted the most gratuitous lie we've seen so far: According to this post, her husband was in the ICU on September 28: No, I was wrong above. Actually, this next post is the most gratuitous lie we've seen so far AND it was posted while her husband was fighting for his life in the hospital with COVID so it gets extra points: Unreal. She also posted this: On the same day as that last post, she posts: Let's just cut to the chase: The prayers, while nice, weren't enough... RIP Steve. Get Vaccinated, Teresa, and everyone else! Delaware should be embarrassed : Witzke was the Republican nominee for the 2020 United States Senate election in Delaware.
This article is literally bullshit from the opening line. I think you have to go line by line here (1) "Blaming people for contracting a catchy virus has been one of many widely deployed COVID manipulation tactics." No one is blaming anyone for catching the virus. We're blaming you for being a dumbass and not getting vaccinated because you're doing your own research or for not wearing a mask. (2) "That has shifted into blaming people for dying of a catchy virus after they decided their risks from taking the vaccines outweighed their risks from catching the disease." No that's downright being dumb as fuck. The empirical evidence is that you have an infinitely greater chance of dying from the virus as opposed to the vaccine. So yes we very much blame and look upon you as a dumbass for making that decision. (3) "Shaming people for dying by accident is a bit twisted, but it might make sense if you believe life is over once a person stops breathing, and so cling to the illusion of human control over death to avoid the terror of acknowledging that’s impossible." It's not by accident , is basically negligence or gross negligence if you say fuck the science I'm not getting vaccinated or wearing a mask and then get COVID. Now this "life is over when people stop breathing" and "cling to the illusion of human control over death" is her just completely leaving the reservation, and she's basically incoherently blabbering at that point.
This guy was 58? Or the classic boomer move of putting a family member as your profile picture to confuse onlookers on TMB?
Rolling Stone has continually refused to publish my article about how coronavirus is the Call Me Maybe of 2020
Damn it , I couldn't help but to read the article further. Essentially it argues that we aren't in control of when we die, that God is, and thus those who are pro vaccination/masks/science are wrong. I think most God fearing people believe that God is in control. But that is not a reason to (1) not get a vaccine (2) not wear a mask or (3) not follow medical recommendations for social distancing . It also seems to argue that churches that shut down due to social distancing concerns/government mandates prioritized the commands of the government and thus men over God. I don't think I even need to address that as we're obviously dealing with a radicalized buffoon who would have people crammed into churches rapidly spreading a lethal and highly contagious plague.
