been a Fulham fan for 20 years and this is probably my 2nd or 3rd favorite season, but the nature of the beast is that most discussion is already centered on which positions we need to shore up for the PL and how we compare to middle-bottom PL teams so it takes some of the joy away. If you can just take this season for what it is though it’s awesome
This season has been fun, but I think I actually enjoyed our first promotion season the best. Just that massive unbeaten streak to make the playoffs and get promoted despite all odds. Its different going in just expecting to win each week, plus I the 2 straight relegations has me nervous about next year which is taking a bit of the excitement out of it.
I hate that type of penalty but that’s going to be called at every level so what can you do? the difference in the first half has been that we’ve missed on some good chances while they’ve really only had the two but converted both of them. It’s a fire gone conclusion that’s Ream is done if we play in the PL next year but I’m starting to wonder if we need an upgrade over Tosin as well
I wasn’t up early enough to watch the game but based on this season I think the entire defense needs to upgraded. We look shakey against most championship teams, PL players will eat us up. We’ve just been scoring so many damn goals it takes the focus off the D.

I know it’s the way it is across the sport now but I wish our guys wouldn’t go down so easily in the box. I feel like Neco just now and certainly Mitro a few minutes ago would have had great goal scoring opportunities if they had made more of an attempt to stay up instead of trying to get tripped.

He’s been one of our best players this season. He’s probably not a Liverpool-tier player but he’s plenty good enough to start for us in the PL next year. **of course this is assuming we get the 14 points we need in our last 10 games to mathematically secure automatic promotion
Wasn’t a penalty and Tosin was fouled which led to the chance. I know the English fans have a conniption about VAR, but would they rather have that nonsense? Really cagey game, especially in the second half. It’s kind of a nice thing about the league that the top team can be involved in this kind of game with the 23rd place team and Bournemouth can draw the team in last place. Almost not possible in the current Premier League.
