I always forget this thread exists. For discussion. SIAP. One bettor has a lot riding on the Monday Football game between the Lions and Packers. If Detroit wins (+400), the person will complete a 16-game parlay that will net $726,959 off a $25 bet. Here are their winning bets: Washington -175 Bears -130 Browns -650 Rams -190 Bills -175 Patriots -250 49ers -160 Raiders +190 Panthers +150 Broncos -275 Cardinals -190 Buccaneers -650 Cowboys +135 Titans +190 Ravens +180 Lions +400 (pending) Monday's pick is on the moneyline, meaning Detroit needs to be victorious outright. The Packers are heavy -650 favorites to win Monday's matchup, per BetMGM.
If I’m then I’m emptying my bank account and/or borrowing any sort of money to hedge that for as much as I can.
Shopping around can get them $100,000 locked in. I know I'm the king of #teamarb but I don't know how anyone would let this ride if they could avoid it
I’d imagine this person does this every week and has for years. Imagine getting this fucking close and needing the Lions to win.
Already put my tease in for the upcoming NFL weekend Arizona -1.5 Buffalo -2.5 Cleveland -1.5 Denver -4.5
So far: ARI Cardinals -7 vs Jacksonville CAR Panthers -7½ vs Houston THURS (-8.5 now) NE Patriots -3 vs New Orleans (-2.5 now) Michigan State -4 vs Nebraska (-5 now) Iowa -22½ vs Colorado St Wisconsin -5½ vs Notre Dame (-6 now) also considering Denver -10.5 vs NYJ. basically just betting against rookie QBs against these good defenses (tbd on arizona but at least their pass rush is good)
does anyone track any of the pickers on the espn daily wager show? curious if any of these guys are any good
anyone taking a side on Iowa St/Baylor, Missouri/BC, or Clemson/NC State? these three games are intriguing to me but i haven't bet any of them yet.
I listen to the Stanford Steve and The Bear podcast. 1. It's just something to listen to while I work and 2. They usually have some pretty good insight at the very least. Dont blindly tail them or anything but yeah
I’ve taken BC and Clemson. Pre season this Clemson line would be 30. I’m thinking they figure something out offense. Their D hasn’t given up TD yet.
Early leans Mizzou -2. Sagarin has BC SOS ranked 221. I think Mizzou rolls with Jurkovich out. ND +7. Buying the hook. Clemson -10. This is my weekly dumb pick, but I think Clemson finally puts it all together and doubt NC State scores more than 10 points. Tennessee +20. Just a hunch. Georgia -20.5 1H. I'm worried about the -35 backdoor in 2nd half but think this will be a blowout at half. Also if you can get 1Q -7 then I'd jump on that too.
Same Game Parlays for NFL Game tonight Sam Darnold over 229.5 Passing Mccaffrey over 39.5 Receiving Cooks over 74.5 Receiving Moore over 54.5 Receving (+350) Ingram over 29.5 Rushing Mills over 169.5 Passing Darnold over 229.5 Passing Cooks over 54.5 Receiving (+225) Then Played this for fun Mills Over 250 Pass yards Cooks over 100 Receiving (+540)
I leave for Vegas in the morning. Plan on playing mostly Craps and trying not to lose a fuck ton of money.
Just got back, went out there for the Iowa State UNLV game in the Raiders Stadium. Spent most of our time at Sportsbook, something I found interesting was I never got free drink tickets betting college football, but even when I made a small Horseracing bet they would give them to me.
We are going to Dolphins Raiders on Sunday. That's odd on the drinks. We are staying at the Cosmo but I want to check out the new Circa casino downtown. The sportsbook there is massive.
Yeah we were down at Mandalay / Luxor. I actually prefer Mirage Sportsbook as they have super comfy chairs, and don't get as busy as others.
I loved playing on Fremont Street. I found that the dealers and everyone were so much more fun to be around. Lower minimums too. I hope you have a great time!
yeah Fremont is fun. I’m a degen though I typically pay 25 min Craps or 100 single deck double deck BJ so table mins be damned lol.
i bet it like an idiot but that carolina defense is so good that i feel like i should still cover imo
