Episode 5 is insane

 

Had heard this show was really good, but wasn't prepared for what I was getting into. The action sequences might be the best I've ever seen in a TV show. Just finished episode 5 and holy shit.

 

The action sequences should not surprise anyone if you’ve seen either The Raid: Redemption or its sequel The Raid 2. Garett Evans directed both. They’re up there with the best action movies I’ve seen.
Highly recommend them.

 

Didn't know it was him, but that definitely makes sense. Loved both of those.

Just binged the 1st season. How does this show not get more attention? Brutal AF, great fight scenes and acting. Hope the 2nd season is just as good.

Just started it a couple days ago, about to finish the first season. Terrific.

 

Finished season 1 and really liked it for what it is. Is season 2 on par with season 1?

 

Been a minute, I remember it being good but not as good as S1.

 

it’s worth watching, but even more turn your brain off than s1 was

 

Also, I watched this show on that new “stories by amc” channel on YouTube tv. They’ve been showing a lot of shows that I haven’t seen. Also recommend the ipcress file (also with joe coke) and the night manager. There might be others in forgetting right now, but really enjoying that channel

 

Started bingeing this one last night. Was sold when I read ITT ab Raid and the lead being John Shelby. Fight scenes are excellent. Probably just the right amount of gore to be hardcore but not over the top. Just finished the famous episode 5 and hot damn if Tall Bro getting his face blown off wasn't a little satisfying.

 

First season was rock solid TV. Catelyn Stark having a redo of the red wedding in another show kinda funny
