See you were the smart guy and he was not
Reality has run out of ideas.
But i was out driving in the snow!
If it wasn't for the trucks, there would not be an interstate system
That's my favorite fact when people bitch about trucks 'getting in their way '
There are two ways to deal with snow/ice. One is not going out in it or picking off hours when everyone else isn’t going and the other is giving yourself way more time than you expect to need if you absolutely must go out. You did a good job with #2
Not as many opportunities for merchandising this time as there were for toilet paper and masks.
There were lots of videos from that storm that looked like people doing everything they would normally do and those were the people to give shit to. Lots of innocent bystanders from those accidents tho
I remember that conversation about southerners expecting there to be alligators in every body of water so to know the danger but this is the reverse.
Believe it was Atlanta a few years ago. Either around a hurricane or when the same pipeline caught on fire in Alabama.
Possibly, I definitely remember it regardless.
2' of snow in one storm would shut down metro Detroit for a few days. We have snow days for a reason. Chicago had a Snowpacolypse with 18" in 2014 and nobody went anywhere from like Tuesday evening until Thursday afternoon. There was a CPD SUV stuck in my street for 24 hours.
I've been in Atlanta for ice and everything went to hell, but it melted in a day.
Not to mention school districts mishandled it, to put it politely.
Will this affect airline travel? Gotta think big hubs like Atlanta and Charlotte would be canceling a lot of regional flights.
Deal also completely fucked up the preparation. Didn't take it seriously and essentially did nothing.
Yeah. This is crazy. I remember learning as a kid in school how alligators were endangered. Now they’re everywhere. It’s crazy.
American Airlines had to cancel 2 long haul flights out of Charlotte. I’d imagine there’s gonna be a few more
He got out of his car, fought a girl, and lost
Luckily no one is panicking
Yeah, those airplanes and their 87 octane gasoline!
“Wake up CLT”
January 2011 we got 6" in Atlanta, night of Auburn winning the Natty, 285 wasn't cleared until late Friday.
that's the name of the morning show
my wife has a quarter tank of gas
the next day was the first day of classes for us. at halftime they announced that classes were cancelled. that was a fun title game as a neutral
Followed by “Rise and Shine PSY”
As and participant, it was very very fun. Dyer Wasn't Down #Oregon Ducks #Auburn Tigers
Imagine how many people are working from home and barely drive but rushed to fill up their tank for absolutely no reason whatsoever
Colonial supplies east coast airports with jet fuel
I printed out your posts and used it as TP
If you want dtx to touch your butthole you could just ask
In just five states the Colonial Pipeline serves – Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina and Virginia – demand was up by a collective 40.1% on Monday, per GasBuddy.
I'm so glad the internet didn't exist during the hurricanes of the 90s when I was in Florida. People are so fucking stupid
I really enjoyed how tons of Oregon fans screamed cheaters at us on the way in the stadium and then rapidly ran out when we beat them.
god damnit joe!!!
So far from facebook, I've seen the same guy blame:
Biden b/c unemployment is making all the truck drivers lazy.
Biden for Killing the Keystone Pipeline that would have helped Canada Export their oil to the world.
Biden & the CIA not stopping cyber attacks vs private companies.
Biden voters b/c they voted for a Woman.
It looks like Michigan Governor Whitmer has blinked in the Enbridge Line 5 dispute.
Michigan claims Line 5 violates a 1953 easement granted to cross the Mackinaw Straight. Whitmer gave Enbridge until today to shut it down.
Enbridge refused, and recognizing the reality of what is happening with the Colonial pipeline in the SE, Whitmer appears to be doing nothing to shut it down.
20 car lines at every gas station I passed today, no thanks
Looking at the GasBuddy map for the metro Atlanta region today and it is FUCKED. People who rightfully waited may be fucked if they have to fill up in the next week.
yeah i know waiting is the right thing to do but no one is waiting and those that did the right thing are fucked
Welcome to always
Actually needed gas so I had to suck it up and get in line, people were really pissy and stupid about it too (i.e. not using whole rows of pumps because the first car in line’s tank was on the wrong side and the driver was too lazy to turn the car around)
Also love how the lines are bad enough to fuck up the flow of traffic
Drove yesterday from Atlanta to Columbus Ohio for work, I should be okay coming back Friday and filling up in Tennessee, right?
Shouldn’t have got out of his car but if she is willing to do what she did…..
Was expecting for him to do more than just hold her when she started swinging.
It’d be a huge shame if this caused my weekend trip to the lake, nashville to Birmingham Alabama, with the in-laws to get canceled
Dystopian America is really going to be something.
people who do the right thing in america always lose
From a wardrobe standpoint I don’t think I’m prepared for the Mad Max chapter of COVID
