I know I saw something recently about it but now can’t find it. It looks like it was supposed to be released on HBO Max this week but things changed? So hopefully soon.
Thirteen Lives is a good watch on Prime for free. True story about the Thailand soccer team that got stuck in a flooded cave a few years back.
yep guess my brain blanked out and just stopped typing mid post but it was pretty good, it definitely seems to imply some stuff and feels a touch one sided but it's still worth a watch if you liked the movie
ill put it in spoilers Spoiler that part you aren't wrong about, they did highlight how they did actual drugs on sets with minors which was crazy but they showed how the kids were left on their own after the movie and 2 ended up dying bc of this movie, which it kinda implies is because of the movie/fame (or limited fame that wasn't really fame) one was suicide and the other was a drug OD which I will say is probably not wrong, but as sad as it is it feels a little too pointed
I’m going to have to check that out. If you’re interested in a semi-corollary piece, there’s a decent documentary about dash snow called “Moments Like this Never Last”. Leo Fitzpatrick is in the doc, so it is an immediate connector. As far as Larry Clark goes, I’m sure a documentary about bully (which will never come) would be far more heinous. That guy should actually be in jail. I can’t bring myself to watch that film.
Joaquin Phoenix is really good in Joker, but rewatching Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Leo and Brad both should have won Oscars.
I was a freshman in college when it came out and I didn’t think I was going to make it through the movie I was laughing so hard.
Just watched Prey and thought it was excellent. The original is one of my favorite action films and will always have the nostalgia factor, but I think Prey may be the best overall film of the series. Spoiler The entire bear sequence was especially awesome.
Prey & Predator are like 1A 1B for me. I think Prey is the superior overall story but goddamn the OG Predator nostalgia is hard to ignore
Totally random waiting for football to start old Henry. Western. Tim Blake Nelson is really good. showtime
also avoid looking it up on IMDb google etc Casting/characters will give away a spoiler that was very fun
Just started Nope. I’ve said wtf twice. A nickel and a key. This is going to be good. I’ve avoided all spoilers.
hope it's good but sometimes long ovations aren't a great sign https://www.indiewire.com/gallery/longest-cannes-standing-ovations-applause-ever/mud-3/
