Toby McGuire is weird as hell. Sure he's a decent guy, but awkward. Watched the new Spiderman last night, watching the Green Goblin one now. What else has he done besides this series? Seabiscuit?
he was a super prevalent actor pre-spiderman. Notably Pleasantville and Cider House Rules. Seems like he didn't care to act too much after Spiderman 3. He is also about to be in one of the biggest movies of the year
Tobey has always been very particular about the roles he takes. Combine that with trouble with co-stars, negative press, gambling, etc. These days he's more of a producer and focuses on his production company
The new Illumination one was great and probably my favorite version. Our kid freaks out when we play it because it’s his favorite as well
I went to go see the new knives out this weekend. I’d recommend seeing that in a theater if you can (pretty sure it leaves in the next few days). I didn’t like it as much as the first, but it’s still a good whodunnit and is very very funny
is there a discussion about Bros? I didn't think it was very good. the comedy vs romance balance was uneven and i thought the main character was an irredeemable jerk.
Saw this last night and agree on both points. Had not even heard it until I went looking at movie times.
This has Deniro, Malkovich, and the guy with half a face from Boardwalk Empire. Not expecting much from it. Mostly a watch. Mainly downloaded it because of the poster. Sorry big ass pic.
Watching The Road (never read the book) and I forgot how bad aragorns kid blows he should’ve ate him at the waterfall
Never saw the movie but read the book. Had to stop reading before with bed with that one. Messed up dreams.
I read it was so expensive to make that it has to be like amongst the top 5 highest grossing movies to be profitable.
HBO just sent a "What to Watch" email. Amsterdam is now available. I clicked it and its the full movie. I thought it was Dec theatrical with concurrent premium VOD (e.g. $20 rental) and streaming 45 days later but w/e, nice to have it now.
I'm watching Troll, 2022 Norwegian movie about mountains that become giant monster trolls. On Netflix. I am thoroughly entertain so far.
Saw that. Not sure if it’s a sequel to Troll Hunter or not. Might be a remake. Not sure. Edit: just googled it and not it is not. Just 2 Norwegian movies about trolls but not connected.
