I really liked All Quiet On The Western Front. The music that seemed like it was like pulled from Dark was a little out of place but movie was really good.
Put it on to have something in the background while I scrolled my phone the other day. Quickly put my phone down and was all-in. Very good movie. I'm a sucker for all things WW1 though.
This was like the first one. It was amazing to see in person but like, an actual unoriginal piece of shit with really terrible dialog. But god it was awesome in theaters.
I look forward to it just because of the theater experience, it has been poo pood on a lot but avatar in theaters the first time was a fun watch even with the most elementary plot structure ever constructed
just watched latest Elvis movie. The dude who played Elvis is a great actor but 2 hours and 40 mins is too much Elvis. Plus Tom Hanks in a fat suit was weird.
Such an underrated movie. Just looked it up and it’s streaming on Peacock so I know what im watching tomorrow
Rush Hour 1 and 2 were recently added to Netflix, have been great background movies. They still hold up incredibly well.
I watched vengeance last night and that ending might be the dumbest ending to a movie I've ever seen. I do not recommend
The Martian meets Jurassic Park. So instead of the lazy trend of cashing in on remakes and nostalgia, now their shifting to just combining other popular movies to make something that is “original.” Trailer looks cool tho.
Goodnight Oppy was a really fun watch on Amazon Prime. It's a documentary, but I really enjoyed it. I wonder how much better the latest generation of Mars rovers will be comparatively. I also wonder if they'll be using the Boston Dynamics Spot robot guy, because it would fit within the narrative of that movie.
Who has watched Linklater's Apollo 10.5 on Netflix? Heard it was pretty good. Came out in the spring, but I'm just learning of it.
The Boy, the Mole, the Fox, and the Horse on Apple TV+ was quite good, only about 35 minutes as well.
My top 3 “fun” movies of 2022 in no particular order: Glass Onion Top Gun: Maverick Confess, Fletch HM: Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent
Saw Avatar the other night. Visually great but way too long. Wife was wanting to leave after about two hours. Really dragged to me.
Went to go see bones and all yesterday. Theater was fairly full surprisingly, so I was hoping for a few walk outs but didn’t get any. Just some super uncomfortable Chalamet super fans as he chowed down on some people. Very solid movie though, I loved the soundtrack/score
