I knew there was a big swing coming in the final act of the movie. So I was ready for something weird. I fucking loved Romulus
Spoiler Rook cgi wasn’t great but the earlier movies weren’t perfect with their effects either. I thought the movie really rocked. Scary, exciting, with compelling enough story. Best one since the first two in my opinion. also, what was with the accents? lol
Hoping to see that Sunday or Monday, not a whole lot of decent options to consider this weekend friends
without spoilers, let me know how it is. I won't be able to see it this week, and may have to wait until early September.
Just rewatched the opening scene of Drive last night The basketball game on the tv, then the radio The music cutting in and out, building up The guys in the backseat looking nervous while he does his thing Whip up at Staples Center, get out without saying shit to the robbers, disappear in the crowd
I see almost all new movies due to Unlimited and living and working near a theater, but think I’ll be skipping this one ;) Let us know how bad it is dump !!
Strange Darling was fantastic. Maybe my favorite film of the year. Just don’t read much about it before you see it.
Blink Twice was better than I expected. Very solid debut by Zoe Kravitz. Definitely gives off Get Out/Ready Or Not type vibes. There were some things that could have been tweaked and the very end was kind of meh if I would say anything negative about it. But that is definitely the type of movie Channing Tatum is almost perfect for. Also there is a trigger warning before the film because some of the scenes are a bit rough
High af and watching the OG Planet of the Apes with Meatball. This is his first experience of Charlton Heston, my son is mesmerized. I forgot how low key good this flick is
Definitely got a get out vibe from the trailer. Even if it is an homage to a better director, I’m excited to see it
Watched the Fall Guy last night. It was fine. Can’t believe there was actual discussion and hand wringing in here about that movie getting such a short run in the theater a while back.
Dwight Yoakam having to explain the status of Game of Thrones to rioting inmates is the best scene in that movie.
I need to rewatch it but I really enjoyed it. Cage was amazing and I had to google the ending explained.
I liked it a lot, thought it jumped the shark a bit with the doll stuff but the overall aesthetics and vibes made it well worth the watch
Yeah I didn’t get that stuff hence the google search Spoiler also didn’t think about whether the doll made Lee kill the girl or not with her being close enough to the doll for that long with how it just ends
They are showing The Batman again with a preview of The Penguin show and Everything Everywhere All At Once at the same time on Wednesday decisions decisions
