watched The Limey last night and in watching these "older" movies, im starting to realize I really miss movies that are shot in LA
I thought Materialists was alright. It's a rom com that's a little light on the comedy. Big day for the Chris Evans fan club, I hope he does some more interesting work now that it seems like he's out of Marvel jail. He and Pascal are both very charming. Too bad about Dakota Johnson, please go away Spoiler hated the Sophie L plotline. What a drag on a movie that would be better if it kept a lighter tone
The Wizard of Oz did the multiverse first and they did it best. The gays knew it but we didn’t listen.
gave the 2024 french THE COUNT OF MONTE CRISTO a watch last night and didn't love it may watch the 2002 version tonight.
my only problem with life of chuck is I wish we got more Chuck but I guess thats the point of it all eat arby’s and don’t repress your inner theater kid
My theater for Materialists was sold out on a Saturday afternoon. Didn’t expect that. Spoiler I wish she wound up with Pedro’s character.
How To Train Your Dragon easily one of the best live action remakes. Also didn’t realize Astrid is the daughter of Thandiwe Newton until right now. She’s gonna be a star.
Watched mulholland drive again last night, great movie. I get huge black dahlia vibes when I watch this movie great read by the way
There’s a Pixar movie opening in a few days and I haven’t seen or heard anything about it. Did they advertise at all?
Yeah, looking at dragon show times and it was the first I’ve ever seen anything about it. I’ll be the first to admit my Glorp knowledge is extremely lacking and dated.
currently awaiting a copy of Miami Blues to arrive at my local indie bookstore. Love me some good crime/noir novels
Just watched The American....woof. A movie where nothing really happens and that which does, doesn't make much sense or get an explanation. But, if you want a relationship with a prostitute that goes from 0 to 100 out of NOWHERE, it has that.
