I did a presentation on the Eternal Derby in college. To say it’s fucking wild is a massive understatement.
How you gonna get fired TWICE in a season? Man is off the rails. He'll land a 2nd tier job somewhere and work his way back up though, I bet
Barca facing corruption charges huh? Nice. https://www.espn.com/soccer/barcelo...ruption-charges-over-referee-payments-scandal
Hi Mickey It was a joke about barca supporter, artoo, only posting Russian propaganda in the ukraine thread and also saying barca reverse mortgaging their subsidiaries was just memes and not actually news worthy.
Reminds me of when you have to tell little kids that they can’t hug and squeeze the puppy or kitten too hard or they’ll hurt it. Don’t want to literally love it to death. Lol.

Oh look the Romans are in good company https://theathletic.com/4339251/2023/03/23/vinicius-jr-racism-barcelona-real-madrid/?amp=1
Pics 3 and 4 are the what the stadium and area will look like after the renovations. You can see a section of the upper deck that they have already removed in one of the other pics. Weren’t allowed to take pictures in the first team dressing room.
It was really cool. If you go you’ll want to do the guided tour because you don’t get to see everything or go down to the pitch with the basic tour. They have a bunch of really well done videos and interactive displays showing the highlights and history of the club and La Masia. The trophy room is huge and has silverware from all the Barca sports clubs, not just the soccer team. The stadium is absolutely massive. You really get a feel for just how big it is from down on the pitch. It’s old and rickety because it literally hasn’t been renovated or updated at all since the 1990s. The entire lower bowl is completely unchanged from like the 1950s. One interesting thing about the dressing room is each locker has a list of some of the major players who previously sat at that locker so the current players feel even more connected to the history of the club.
Oh, I've been. When we went it was an audio tour, they gave you an audio device that you hit the number of what you were looking at and it would give the description/history/you know. But that got us through the museum and on to the field and up into locker room and all that shit.
The Camp Nou tour was way better than the Ajax tour. I’ve noticed those audio devices are pretty standard everywhere. Used them at the Rembrandt house in Amsterdam too.
