That is a bridge day for me. It is a Tuesday night in November right before the Manchester Derby. I am trying to piece together a trip over there.
Plenty of time for that. I am planning on getting there on the 5th and seeing City play at West Brom on the 6th and doing some exploring on the 7th and 8th seeing one of these matches on the 9th, the Derby on the 10th and exploring on the 11th and 12th seeing City play B'ham on the 13rd. I am leaning towards the Leeds-Hull match. I like the Leeds fans.
Nitt, I would choose the Leeds-Hull match. Elland Road is supposed to be one of the best stadiums outside of the EPL.
Thats what I am thinking. I will probably be staying in London to the start the trip off and make the move up to Manchester on that Monday to get prepared for the Derby. So Leeds is just a short rail trip to the east from Manchester.
I got a seasoncard (season ticket) for City. That way I do not need to worry about buying tickets for City matches when I am over there. I will sell the rest online probably end up turning profit.
Instead of taking a chance and not getting a ticket for the Derby (which is very likely unless I want to pay out the ass), I got bought a season ticket for City. Last season tickets for Derby were going for over 500 pounds a piece. the ticket cost me 552 plus taxes.
Also now I can buy away tickets from the club but that is unlike since like College Football, they use loyalty points.
when do single game tickets go on sale also what is the likelihood of me actually getting these tickets
What match(es) you going to see? I am not sure when single tickets are going on sale. I am watching the West Brom site to trying and get tickets from them.
Yeah it is only home EPL matches. I got first rights to buy the seat for the Cup matches. It depends on how far they go into each Cup and Europa.
Got to go with the scarf. Aston Villa might not be too bad. It is right after the boxing day match and before the home match on the 1st. I would just keep an eye out on the site for individual match tickets.
the player in the germany jersey threw me off, but then I realized that it was post game with the jersey swap at the same time, fucking hilarious

I was just reading a Q&A with Landon Donovan. This part made me laugh. Here's the link to the whole article. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2010/soccer/world-cup-2010/writers/grant_wahl/07/09/donovan.interview/index.html
