Damn I used to love watching this guy play when I lived in Chicago. He was one angry motherfucker though.
Chevy's refusal to ditch the gold and have their logo match the kit would drive me crazy if I were a United fan. Alas, I am not so enjoy your stupid sponsor lmbo.
£75m per year for a little gold on the kit seems like an even trade. Spoiler United lose a lot of that money if they don't make CL this year.
No doubt the Adidas and Chevy money is worth it but I'm an Arsenal fan so making fun of shirt sponsors is basically all I have at the moment.

Anyone else read Schweini's comments about MLS? http://www.espnfc.us/chicago-fire/s...ger-difference-between-mls-and-europe-is-huge
should anyone be surprised he thinks the gap between Bayern or the German national team and the Chicago Fire is huge?
No, just thought it was pretty funny that he shit on the league so bad publicly, but I guess the traffic ITT is so much that I shouldn't derail it by posting things that might prompt discussion.
Oh 100%, makes me laugh at Don Garber and Arena trying to push MLS players into the national team despite the league being bad
I just don't understand why you/anyone can get upset at Garber for trying to make the league as good as he possibly can. He doesn't pick the rosters.... Now, Gulati/Arena is a completely different story.
Trying to push MLS players to the national team isn't making the league better. There are a number of ways they could make the league better but they refuse to conform to the proven methods of european leagues. Transfer rules are just awful to start among many other things. Other than tossing money at guys like Jozy and Bradley to come back he's done nothing to grow the skill level of the league. Youth development will help but on it's current course it's going to be a long time until MLS is even level with Liga MX.
Again, I don't get why you're bashing Garber for anything national team related. That's not anything he's responsible for. If the league tried to go the way European leagues do, the league would have folded a decade ago.
Laughing at him for pushing the national team to call up more MLS players isn't bashing him, it's laughing at absurdity. The way transfers and roster building work in MLS are completely ridiculous https://www.si.com/planet-futbol/20...es-acquisitions-flowchart-how-to-sign-players, an open transfer market wouldn't cause the league to fold, the ownership structure is dumb as well. There is a reason they haven't been able to farm and/or acquire more talent to this point.
