The good news is I don’t think anybody can hold our offense under 40. The bad news is I’m surprised our defense can keep anybody under 40.
Clown Baby I got shit this Monday and Tuesday night. Was planning on dinner with the wife and kids Wednesday. Publix off Ponce Thursday? Dad’s free that night too.
The good news for UGA is any offensive concerns they have/have had are going to be fixed. 2020 Alabama is OU on that side of the ball.
I’m not overly confident we win but I’d be pretty surprised to see Bama score 40+ offensive points on this defense.
I am really enjoying this whole SEC teams playing other teams in their conference thing y’all should keep this going in the future the world needs more Bama vs Georgia in October Less Bama vs Furman
It's been 26 years and 10 days since Bama last beat Georgia in Tuscaloosa. lmbo Spoiler for real we need to add another conference game even if the CFP remains 4 teams for foreseeable future.
too many teams in the SEC to stay at 8 conference games, the schedules are too lopsided would help with ratings and attendance as well
I think Saban is the only coach to have voted for a 9 game schedule in the past. It’s absurd we only play 8 conference games.
As an outsider, feels like the defensive staff turnover hit them hard in coaching but also recruiting. Missed on some guys plus took some shit heads that transferred. I could be way off.
We’ve missed a few guys at ILB particularly, but our level of talent on that side of the ball isn’t an issue imo.
What about edge guys? Anoma and that other kid who transferred? Also seems like the interior DL isn’t 20 deep like usual.
It’s weird playing Bama and them not having a single defensive player that scares you. Conversely, their WRs are terrifying. The Bama we see next week will look much different than last night. The offense won’t score at will but the defense will look a lot better against our offense. Think this is the first of two match ups we have this year. If we were better at QB, would feel much better about our chances. Think Bama wins this round comfortably.
I don’t think Enoma or Alfano were much of a loss. Our fundamentals on D are so bad that it’s honestly difficult to judge how good/bad individual players are because everything they do is so poor. Maybe they all just suck, but I kinda doubt that.
Based on what I’ve seen and what I heard this spring/summer, I think we win with Jamie Newman at QB. Don’t think we can pull it off with Bennett.
QB is really the only thing that sets us apart from them, Clemson and Ohio State. We are decidedly weaker at that spot.
I'm telling you he calls plays, which we apparently struggle to get in on time, and coaches ILBs, who have been trash the past 2 years at tackling and knowing their assignments.
Jake Scott asked 10 questions just to get that snseer so he could jerk off his coach. Hate to see it.
this game would be a lot more interesting if Jamie Newman had stayed. Or Kirby did not justinfields himself. Dont see Stetson leaving Tuscaloosa with a W. (Also have no clue what kind of OL play we will get). Just hope our defense puts some respect on our name, we keep it somewhat close, and set the stage for a decent SECCG rematch.
