    In the early 1960s, infamous crime boss Bumpy Johnson, is on parole after a 10 year stint in prison and returns to Harlem to find the city he once ruled in chaos. With the streets controlled by the Genovese crime family, Bumpy must regain control via an alliance with radical preacher Malcolm X and during a social upheaval the likes of which the city has never seen before.

    i finished it pretty quickly a month or so ago. definitely quarantine-worthy. Vince D'Onofrio was a bit cringey acting wise but fun time period in NYC for tv porpoises. is there gonna be a season 2?

    Is he a good actor lol.. Is it noticeable.

    Years ago I watched a show called Spartacus and the lead actor passed away and was replaced. It took some time to get used to the new lead.

    Watching season 1, the historical inaccuracies and somewhat terrible acting is turning me off but I watch a lot of TV and will continue
