I went and saw the 1976 King Kong movie as a little kid and remember balling my eyes out when he fell all of the building.

So I'm team Kong.

 

I just want them to be pals and team up to save the world is that too much to ask for

 

Are they going to keep with the theme of some of the monsters going to Skull Island instead of following the 3 headed fucker from the last movie?

 

He has a name and its King Ghidorah.

Team Godzilla. My dad used to take me to this local theater when I was a little kid to watch all the Japanese Godzilla movies. I watch those with my kids now.

 

I couldn't remember and was too sleepy to look it up.

My body is ready

 

I’m definitely interested in the plot here. Current movies have consistently shown Godzilla having protecting humanity and fighting his rivals when necessary.

Writers certainly need to set the stage well why these two would want to fight each other

 

Pacific Rim was the best of all giant monster/robot movies (the sequel was an abortion). Shame they couldn’t combine the two franchises and have Godzilla, Kong, and Jaegers fight the aliens. Godzilla is always better when he is not the enemy (outside of the original 1954 movie).

The only human involvement should be some dumbasses provoking them and then dying in a really gruesome/terrible/embarrassing way and then just let the monsters do their thing smesh shit.

 

I did like that little finger touch between the little girl and Kong.

That might be the worst song choice ever for a trailer. It was so bad that it made me think the movie will be bad because I don't trust their decision making now.

mechagodzilla gets created and insert "xyz" supervillain group unleashes him on various areas for money/power/whatever. govt's think Godzilla has gone rogue and killing everyone so they go grab kong to pit them against each other in hopes KK can defeat him. KK fights mecha, starts losing, godzilla comes to save the day, KK and Godzilla team up to defeat mecha. afterwards they settle down and make Kongzilla babies and everyone wins

 

Team Kong, but lol.

 

I mean if they can do it right, isn’t that ok?
