I’m probably the one person here he could actually beat. But I’d be down if he wanted to play golf club of Amelia.
While it was off for months to get refinished, I used two other putters that I was much more successful with, and this is just too nice for me now.
My grandparents were members there when I was a little kid(also LCC). So I “played” it when I was super little and just learning to golf. I have a jacket, couple polos and towels from there. Always wanted to play it now that I actually golf. I’m not sure which fairway they lived off of but President Clinton was playing the course and hit into their backyard while they were out there.
I haven’t played that one before. I have played all the courses attached to the plantation. I need to get over there and play a round.
Maybe Bryson is just a marketing genius. You know saying something like that, he's going to get a fuck ton of dudes to try and do whatever he releases to either show they also can or can't do it.
He's a 45 year old who already had a fused back then got into a major car accident that fractured his tibia and fibula with his tibia being an open fracture showing through the skin. It was a bit more complicated situation than a broken leg. People didn't know what, if anything to expect, especially considering his a) prior injury history and b) having no real need to ever golf competitively again if he didn't want to.
The car accident was atrocious and he was extremely lucky he wasn’t hurt worse than he was, but the actual injuries he sustained had a very simple long term prognosis. His previous injuries were never going to affect his bones from healing. He was going to be fine a few months later. The guy is pulling back on his schedule due to age, like all aging golfers do. I understand he’s blaming it on the injury, but Tiger and his team regularly throw misdirection at the media. This was never a Ben Hogan situation.
I know Tiger Woods exaggerates the hell out of his injuries. Just like when he claimed to pop his wrist bone back into place on the course during The Masters, which was completely fabricated. This isn’t new guys. You have to take everything he says injury-related with a humongous grain of salt.
I don’t doubt that was the scenario but the message was delivered by Tiger. He has not been particularly transparent or honest in the past. He and his team have controlled the info and messaging. Who knows what the actual severity is or was.
He had a shattered ankle and two other fractures, one of which was a compound fracture. That wasn’t an exaggerated on the course injury. Shut the fuck up
Hey guys, a horrific and life threatening car crash that leaves a professional athlete in a hospital bed for a month is misdirection. do I have that right?
Tiger had a communited (bone in several pieces, consistent with a crush injury) open tibia fracture that required several pieces of hardware to repair to hold the bone pieces in place. Bone and tissue healing is dicey at best and there is no guarantee it happens at all or new bone will adhere to the metal placed in his leg. There are several leg fractures that are straightforward and recover relatively well. A bone in 5(+) pieces isn’t one of them.
Tiger making his caddy carry his bag while he rides in a cart wouldn’t expect anything less Dude sucks
Has nothing to do with Tiger likely. PGA events require that if the player has been permitted to use a cart. Find a new angle.
you mean tiger, right? because Tiger was breaking 70 on regulation courses and won 4 straight junior world titles during those ages. Charlie looks to be really good, but Tiger was probably the best player in the world for his age group at that age.
which is amazing because watching Charlie and I’d kill to have his consistent little power fade everytime off the tee. As he grows into his body he is going to have easy 300+ power. If he can harness his old man’s ability to make putts and think around a course he has ability. of course, it all depends what the kid wants to do. That spotlight being Tiger’s boy has to be something almost no 12 year experiences.
It's interesting that Charlie isn't playing any junior events. Earl schlepped Tiger around to play in any tournament in which he could enter.
He won his age group at US Nationals tourney last year. At least that's what the graphic said that they showed on the Golf Channel broadcast a little bit ago.
He plays soccer and such down here. I think Tiger is purposely trying to not do what his dad did to him.
