listened to the whole thing on my lunch break. it doesn't have a scoop and he doesn't even give a reason. it's basically an hour of tim tucker fellating bryson's work ethic and talking about all the research and numbers he wants. he does reveal that bryson believes in time travel, though.
this would be my first actual time. I don't have a travel bag or what would be a good bag. problem I'm running into is a lot of courses are going to be closed the week i'm there.
You can get a cheap one off Amazon for like $30. Stuff it with plastic bags if you’re worried about anything breaking.
I golf but if I'm in Vegas in September. I don't think about golf and would very much enjoy not being out in that heat for 5 hrs. In November thru February might be a different story but not in September.
played in Nov and early March. Nov great if it doesnt frost in the morning. but march is not that great. high of 55 with 25mph winds. give me the heat and the ball flying
I always play golf on my birthday and I enjoy playing in extreme heat. But the trip didn't start out as a golf thing, but now its potentially going to be.
Flying Delta business class instead of private plane to the Olympics?! What are we, a bunch of poors now?
could NBC not do better than Rich Lerner on the play by play, pretty bad if this is what they serve when Terry Gannon is occupied.
Someone just holed out from the fairway while they were “playing through” and they haven’t shown a single replay or mentioned who it was live
Wouldn’t come close to qualifying for America, but I get the sentiment. he’s definitely got some seriously conflicting thoughts going on, especially for such an introspective guy.
Eh, the sponsors are totally thrown out this week. To the point where Rory went back to a Scotty Cameron putter. This is about golf and nothing more.
Things are different in Europe and I like Rory being honest as he always is but on a side note no American would ever dare say what he said. It doesn't matter the sport...they would instantly be ostracized. I'm not saying this to start a debate or anything because our countries patriotism that most of us share is special. Just amazing how specifically different that is for us compared to someone like Rory.
His upbringing is full of conflict of interest and nuance. Americans can’t relate with that, though they can empathize with him, especially considering how candid he’s been about it.
Eamon had a good, quick clip talking Rory the the Ireland vs Britain issue https://golfweek.usatoday.com/2021/07/20/eamons-corner-rory-mcilroy-olympics-northern-ireland/
Andy Johnson calls Sabbatini the boy from Bratislava and it makes me laugh every time I think about it.
