I catered a party at Stewart cinks house in Sugarloaf during high school. He tipped us something crazy, have been a fan of his ever since.
Friend of mine has gotten to know him pretty well through the Atlanta barbecue scene oddly enough. Says he’s just an awesome guy.
EAL is just a hipster grifter and a hypocritical circlejerk of everything that he claims to want the game to be.
You said it better than I could. The fact that he has access to all these elite courses infuriates me.
I really liked early AIG EAL and the “just enjoy the game” shtick he put out there. He got sucked into the machine real quick/deep and turned out to be just another albatross.
Anybody have the birddog pants? I got 2 pairs of shorts and thought about getting a pair or 2 of pants for golfing
This, its hard as hell to find golf pants when you're 6'6". I mainly go golf shorts and put on rain pants if it gets to cold, and not ashamed to wear dungarees if need be.
If you’re a pro at a nice golf course it’s typically frowned upon to wear shorts, even if you’re playing another course
I see pros wearing shorts in non tourney rounds all the time how else would Phil get the chance to show off his calves
Callaway makes the best believe it or not. Their B & T store is usually the only place I shop for golf clothes as a 6'6" golfer.
This European Tour playoff won’t end. It’s some kind of hell. They keep playing the par 3 18 over and over and over. American John Catlin is in it.
Catlin will win. Kieffer with an absolute implosion on their 5th time through with 2 in the water on the par 3 18.
Just turned it on when I saw your post. What an epic way to lose, 3 in the water. Nice putt for an 8 on the par 3 though.
Maybe it’s just that particular club then. I wouldn’t be surprised, it’s got about a 100k initiation fee I think
We have several pros living in Jax. I see them at my club as well as 3-4 others. They all wear shorts.
I’m a tennis pro in jersey. All the clubs I’ve worked at the golf pros wear pants 100% of the time and this seemed to include when they played at other private clubs.
Touring pros or PGA pros because there is a difference. Unless something has changed in the last few years it’s frowned upon for club pros to wear shorts at their club or as a guest at another club
Sounds like it will be an unpopular opinion but I wear lulu lemon or whatever athletic breathable material pants for most all rounds. Most people tell think I’m crazy but keeping the sun off my legs for 4-5 hours does way more for my comfort than shorts.
I don't know a about visiting other clubs but our pros all wear pants all the time. Also, quality golf pants breathe really well and aren't hot at all. If you're comparing to jeans I don't think you're on the same planet.
