TecTecTec Laser Golf Rangefinder VPRO500S Slope with Battery I’ve had this one for five years. Works fine. Hard to beat a rangefinder with slope for $180. Although the one directly above me looks cheaper and has slope as well.
We started selling precision pros in the shop. A good bit cheaper than bushnell without losing much quality.
Someone posted Precision Pro in here and I got one and it works great. Just got my dad one for Christmas as well. Lifetime batteries is a nice perk if you can remember to do it before yours runs out.
I'm still using my bushnell but it won't be long before it's time to upgrade. I've wondered about the quality and accuracy
I don’t think there is any accuracy issue. My leupold is a little sturdier but I could switch to a precision pro easily.
My golfing days are done for the foreseeable. Unless something crazy happens, we're moving from Chattanooga to Ann Arbor in a month
I have the Bushnell pro x2 that should last another season or 2, but I wouldn't be surprised if it shit the bed tomorrow
Why isnt there pga tour live for this tournament? And what's the point of announcing featured groups if there's no coverage?
Under the Rules of Golf, the golf ball is holed or considered to be in the hole when the ball "is both at rest within the circumference of the hole and the entire ball is below the level of the lip."
Guh, almost had the same thing happen in Ohio this summer. Ball hit just on the lip, collapsed part of the cup, then hit the pool noodle and hopped out. Unfortunately it was only the 3rd shot on a par five...would been distraught if it was for an ace.
+1 for the Precision Pro. It's really a great product for the price (and I got one right before they started doing the NLU deal). Did just get the Garmin S40 as a consolation to the Kohl's PS5 fiasco, interested to see which one I end up using more often.
Jigga wanted odds posted on his and Ty Webb match. I know nothing about his game but official odds are Jigga -150 Ty +130
That's what I said. (buddies all agreed and we were just playing so wrote a 3 with an asterix and moved on)
Net was 240, mat was 400. https://www.realfeelgolfmats.com/product/country-club-elite-real-feel-golf-mat/ cheaper mat options for sure but research led me to that one. Have had it a couple weeks, no complaints.
Any of you guys have any putting greens? My son loves golf and Ill definitely use it as well. Like a legitimate artificial green. Looking for recommendations.
With how little I play and my current issues off the tee I’d feel a lot better in an 8-10 range but realistically I can not hit driver all day on Wednesday and be ok. (Obviously at the par 3 but at Breakers you can go at some greens with driver if I was hitting it better)
One of the requirements of my next house is getting a room/garage with high enough ceilings to hit indoors again.
I can already see the wear and tear on the area of your mat that you've aligned with your net. Here's a tip. Turn your mat so that it's a diamond shaped, as opposed to square to the net (obviously not when working with your driver). Place the ball on the edge of the mat (indicated by the red dot). Here's a reference pic so you get my point. Now you can rotate your mat every couple of days so that you don't wear out the same area. Also, and this is the best part of it, the club head will not bounce off of the mat as you strike down on the ball because it's on the edge. A mat tends to train people to work on a sweeping strike as opposed to a descending strike. With this set up, you can get down on it.
Brother, we are same. Time to play is just about non-existent these days. I can find an hour or two a week to hit the range. Itching to get out on a track soon.
