2K25 is the newest one and I think it's better than EA. EA came out in 2023. PGA 2K25 came out this week for early pre orders
Podcast titled “Courses Zac Blair Thinks About Most”. His answers are The Tree Farm, Pine Valley, and Cypress Point. Talk about douche chills
Early morning private golf when it’s brisk and you see maybe a few other humans on the course. pretty pretty good.
We have the club championship coming up next weekend. I know I’m not going to win but hoping for a top 10 finish. Game is finally coming back around. Figured the driver out and putter is solid. The rounds are back in the 70’s now. Had a 77 yesterday with a triple on an easy par 5. The game is back to being fun again.
they've been shitting all over Potgieters short game today on the broadcast to a hilarious degree my god that was an atrocious hook
Does golf channel/NBC hate this guy? Watching the post match and they’re still trashing him lol I know nothing about him but the guy is 20 competing in a low level tournament. Cut him a break
I was a 7 index in 2023 and had surgery on my hip in late December 2023. Played 4 times in 2024. I am horrendous now.
Buddy had something similar happen. He was around the same HCP. Had shoulder surgery and got up to a 12/14 while he was recovering. Once he got better we played in a few tournaments and did well since his HCP was higher. He was raking in the skins game for a while. That should be your goal right now.
5 hours exactly on the nose while paired with a couple in their 70s and a guy having a nervous breakdown off the tee. Better than expected!
Played out at the Ocean Course yesterday. It was great weather with little wind. While it's a cool course and a beautiful clubhouse, it is nowhere near being worth $843 ($703 for the round and required $120 minimum caddie tip). Though maybe that's more of a me issue in that I don't think any course is worth that much.
That’s a crazy amount to spend for one round. It cost me $900 (ticket cost plush donation) for season tickets to VT we have mid height seats in the 45. . That’s probably my total close for a week rental and 3 rounds in Myrtle this June.
Last two years it was a week trip and 4 rounds. 8:30am tee time or earlier and you don’t completely die.
True, but both are ranked significantly below the Ocean Course and the guest fees are also significantly less the Ocean Course green's fees.
Both are now exponentially more difficult to get on now that real estate on the island has exploded and getting access is way more limited.
We rented a house on the island and got access to both courses It’s not like I mentioned I prefer Pine Valley or something crazy like that when someone was already dropping almost $1000 on a round.
I play unlimited mid pines, pine needles and southern pines with lodging over 3 days every Feb for $515. played oc a few years ago back when kiawah had their winter stay and play packages. Think I paid about $1200 for 2 nights at the sanctuary, round at the oc and 2 meals, one at the ocean room. RIP to that deal.
From Netflix: “Rory hit balls for 5 hours, 3 hours right to left and 2 hours left to right.” ok I know why I suck at golf.
Rory, knock on wood, just has a very natural + athletic move. Hopefully it's a low stress on his body and he has longevity of speed like Phil.
Pro athletes probably work harder in the morning / pre game of a gameday than 90% of people do. It still seems kinda crazy to me how much thier warmups entail.
I’ve been stunned at how much I can see the impact of a great warm up vs a good warm up in my Stack results. I imagine the elite pros have every facet dialed to ensure not only is their body warm but the timing is triggering properly.
