Qi10 driver and 3 wood are the best clubs I've ever owned. Just added a used 5 wood and hybrid. Global golf had buy a fairway wood get a hybrid half off.
I'm offended that with the amount of sick courses in in sw Ohio the LPGA and Kroger end up at a TPC course across the street from Kings Island
wish it was like pro sports and we could see the numbers.... KVV is a likeable guy but I just never really understood how he was providing value to NLU beyond podcast guest and occasional deep dive podcast. When the refuge crazy people were melting many of them admitted to not really reading his written work, which is why NLU stopped providing it. I think they tried to monetize it initially but couldn't get enough regular readers.
Fried Egg isn’t exactly legacy golf media, but it’s a lot closer to it than NLU is. Much better fit for KVV
The big reasoning they gave on Shotgun Start today for bringing on KVV is that after a major they are usually scrambling to get settled and podcast, and there are times that they wish they could still be on the ground getting getting quotes and content. KVV being legacy media is more equipped to do that than anyone they have on staff. Everyone loves PJ but he's not getting that, nor is LaMagna for damn sure.
I've posted back to back 40s (+4) on my local 9 hole course but I double bogeyed a certain par 3 both times My game is really cooking right now, but I still can't break 85 on an 18-hole course, even though the 18-hole courses I play are easier than the 9-hole one
I shot a 44 on the front yesterday while only hitting 1 good shot. making the turn I was amazed at my scrambling. On the back It all fell apart. Played another 9 in a scramble format after and I started finding the feel again. Also left my 6 iron in the middle of the fairway a few weeks back cause the course was cart path only and it never turned up so I just assume It got ran over by a mower. replacement came in today
I have never broken par on 9. Yesterday on the back i had 2 birdies, 5 pars, 1 bogey and.... a fucking triple
Lol. I doubt you be surprised when you see how much Bezos is paying for the honor to show 1-3 pm on days 1 and 2.
i got a gift certificate to club champion for my bday a few months ago that i was going to use on a putter fitting. any reason to hold off and not do it until spring because new putters will be coming out or anything like that? competitive golf season is about done for me in Michigan for this year. I would like to do it now, but dont want to miss out on something new since it really wont be getting used for awhile anyway.
Yeah between being able to get lower priced putters in the offseason and getting to practice in the winter, I would do it now I am happy I got my putter last year during the offseason for sure
D seems to provide a good mix, with NC mountain courses in the summer and then GA and FL in the fall/winter/spring. It's close, but I'm assuming the Palm Beach courses are included in D
I was leaning H but then I realized it just misses both Bandon an LACC (which I would enjoy playing slowly while not refilling my divots or fixing my pitchmarks)
Isn't LA by that point that sticks out? I think it's in H. And to be clear Chicago is in B but it's possible Olympia Fields is in C
Yeah, but you get Pasa, Pebble, Spyglass, Cypress, Olympic Club, Harding Park. Plus all the Vegas courses and Denver Area
I mean, the answer is D just because Augusta. If G included more of Colorado (rodeo dunes) and all of Hawaii, I might go there.
A or H because I’m not interested in living anywhere other than the west coast and even with unlimited budget not interested in flying all the time.
The answer is C and it's really not that close when it comes to courses. The weather is the troubling point.
