I did just get an email saying we are set but Member/Member is Friday-Saturday. If it gets rained out at all they will play Sunday and we will be out of luck. Mentally preparing now.

Thinking about taking my father-in-law over to the Ocean Course at Kiawah, can you have lunch in the club house and check it out a little bit? Never been and we are visiting Charleston next month. Not interested in playing it this trip because my father-in-law is like a 36 and after the NLU video, seems like a long day.

 

Yeah definitely go out there and check out the Ryder cup bar. They have a fried green tomato blt with pimento cheese that is my favorite.

 

Definitely go check it out and eat lunch. Do not take a 36 handicap out on that golf course. That would be a literal nightmare that may never end

 

Can you eat there when not staying there? I think that's his question and I doubt you can.

 

Finally took the plunge and joined the country club here in town. Pretty solid Perry Maxwell design and the conditioning is light years better than what I’ve been playing on for a while

you definitely can. You can also go to the pro shop and you can sit outside and watch people come in on 18. Ryder cup bar is one of my favorite places on earth.

As others have said, yes you can and yes you should. Prepare to drop some serious monies in the pro shop too, they’ve got a ton of cool shit. Plus I can only imagine all of the ‘21 PGA Championship gear they have already. They were still selling ‘12 PGA Champ stuff when I was there last year
