Semi-related, but if part of your plan involves getting in better physical shape in order to smash it, @FitforGolf is a fantastic twitter follow. I’ve done one of his programs and highly recommend. @adamyounggolf is also a very good follow. He’s got a great book that’ll get you started on a practice plan, and he also has a couple online courses, but I haven’t done those. The book is awesome. It goes into a lot of detail about the physics of ball flight, which I really enjoyed.
Maverick McNealys childhood home up for sale. It’s absurd. https://m.sfgate.com/realestate/art...ystems-CEO-Scott-McNealy-Slashes-14960127.php
This whole Charlie video thing has naturally caused all sorts of drama on Twitter. I do agree that it's shitty of some old man to video Charlie while mostly wanting to catch a glimpse of Tiger. Lavner going out of his way to miss the point
Does anyone have a good rec for a website that books golf trip packages? 4-8 of us are in the early stages of planning a trip, went to Hilton Head last year, toss-up this year somewhere on the east coast to keep it feasible for everyone.
I'm not sure what the better answer would be, but Steele getting relief all the way to that point from that horrible of a shot just doesn't seem right
I tuned in just in time to see Steele drop. Where did his shot end up? How was he able to drop so far from where shot tracker shows?
He was way, way left of the grandstands. The stands were directly in his line to the hole so he gets complete relief for a temporary immovable obstruction
Shotgun Start threw out an idea of is drop zones related to how far off the miss is. If you just roll up against the stands, same as now. If you are in the stands, you are further back. If you jack jt behind the stands you are way the fuck back. At Portrush they had a dropzone in gnarly rough that worked really well. This bumper bowling setup is a farce.
IrishLAX2 had the best advice. Saying that, Premier Golf did my Scotland trip awhile back and they were first class all the way. https://www.premiergolf.com/r1/default.aspx?pid=1
