I'm option 2 Right edge = the middle of the ball should be aimed at the right edge of the cup Outside right edge = the left side of the ball should be aimed at the right edge of the cup A ball outside right edge = the middle of the ball should be aimed a ball's width from the right edge of the cup all of these things = I'm leaving the putt short anyway
Love confirming with my playing partner, “Ball outside? Yeah.” Step up and leave the putt four feet short.
LIV has all but killed the PGA Tour. Really sucks. I don't have much interest any longer outside the majors.
Looks like Taylor Made finally convinced Tiger to go on Grant’s channel. What we really want is Grant and Phil vs. Tiger and Charlie though.
Also, Phil Mickelson has teamed up with him to play a bunch of 2v2 matches against other golfers and assorted celebrities. I don’t think they’ve announced any of the matches yet though.
I get it. It's not for me but I get it It's relatable people with relatable scores/swings that have personality
I follow the Bob does sports guy on instagram because I think he’s funny but I just can’t force myself to go watch YouTube videos of folks doing stuff golf or not.
My ex was a decent but younger than me and every time I was at her place it was YouTube something. A travel vlogger, random shows, etc. I was like you don’t like Netflix?
I got into YouTube golf during covid and enjoy the collabs and content with pros and getting to see some of their personalities you never see. Also like to watch some of the scramble matches and some of the various cash games that are similar to what me and my boys do at our home course. I typically watch them at night when I’m winding down for bed and live sports events are done. I also like seeing some of these courses that are still great but not pga tour sites. It’s not for everyone but still entertaining. I’m not a big tv series guy so this is just a niche I picked up
I think he’s just doing it to promote his supplements or gummies (or whatever the hell “For Wellness” is) and his Liv team lol. He does donate $1000 to his Bunkers in Baghdad charity every time he hits it in a sand trap during these matches though. Also, I don’t think Phil is capable of playing golf without gambling so he always has multiple “friendly wagers” going during these things. Last year he lost to Grant (giving 5 shots) and had to wear joggers at the British Open. More recently, he beat Wesley Bryan in a match and now Wesley has to stand outside CVS in Augusta during the 2025 Masters with a sign that says something stupid like “I messed with the bull and got the horns” or some stupid shit like that.
I’m always fascinated by how George has the one of the best swings in the world and is legitimately a world class ball striker, while Wesley has probably the worst swing of any PGA Tour player and is absolutely god awful off the tee. Wesley has an elite short game though and that’s why he’s a PGA Tour winner while George is basically a borderline Korn Ferry tour player.
Had to go by the arena earlier, they had spotlights out and cops everywhere. Felt like a real sporting event
it’s obviously same shape. But it turns on a turntable so the “front” is different each hole and there’s actuators under it that change the slope every hole. And they can obviously change pin location
I'm enjoying this but the teams being so random is weird to me. Xander is on New York playing the California team. Cantlay is on Atlanta? Guess it's like team sports where it doesn't matter where you are from.
