We thought the course was very family friendly and pretty easy with the kiddos. When they were over-tired and trying to wrangle them to sleep, however, different story.
The dude who ran East Lake last year seemed to be having a ball at both the kick off event and in the Ga power suite.
That’s great to hear. We have deck passes and one of us will probably be doing a lot of pushing a stroller with the 2 year old just keeping her busy. Haha
My buddy and I got paired up with some olds today They didn't know each other. One of them told us he had early Alzheimer's and then shit his pants by the 4th hole. Felt bad for the other guy. Dude drove off without him at least twice. Obviously felt bad for the Alzheimer's guy, too
Sounds pretty much exactly like me and my friends playing except our disease is spelled slightly different (alcoholism)
Heading to SC in a few weeks to play True Blue, Caledonia, Heritage, and TPC Myrtle. Never been out there. Any suggestions in the area? edit: I believe we’re staying on site at True Blue
True Blue and Caledonia are two of my favorites in that area. True Blue isn’t a bad spot for lunch prior to round. Fun course to play. Caledonia is more scenic, isn’t long but need to be fairly accurate. One of my favorite parts of playing is finishing up and sitting on the porch watching people come up 18. As for food recs, Pawleys island tavern (PIT) is good food and fun atmosphere. Frank’s is solid, but a little expensive. I’d make a stop at the Marsh Walk in Murrell’s Inlet. Food at most of those restaurants is standard, but fun environment.
Cumdog nailed it here with the recs. Caledonia and True Blue are both fun courses. Do not skip the fish chowder at Caledonia.
Should have added Luke Kwon and his crew to this. Majority of all I watch are their videos now cause they're funny and good
I don’t think a guy that barely broke 90 for the first time recently is claiming to be a single. You might be thinking of Riggs
They did some 6 hole qualifier where he got spotted 4 shots at the beginning. They are all pretty bad from what I’ve watched
