Poofter is definitely a homosexual slur. I only remember because of The Imitation Game. Seems poof is used similarly, albeit also denoting someone being non-masculine. https://www.dictionary.com/browse/poofter https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Poof
Poofer =/= poofter At least that’s not how it’s intended by any means. I can see how the similarity might confuse some
Going to a bachelor party in Charlotte in December. Anyone have any recommendations that may be close to the airport?
10 or so rounds into using Arccos and it’s pretty damn awesome. Had to upgrade my Apple Watch as the battery on my old one couldn’t make it a round. After that it’s been near flawless. Shot detection is on the money other than putts. Counts too many of those sometimes. But it’s an easy correction on the watch
Just want to welcome Houndster to the fantasy golf champions club. Looking forward to your dinner menu.
I know it is short notice but I have I 2 free tickets for the Tuesday practice round of the Ryder Cup if anyone here wants them
A very boomer thing would be posting the same tweet from two different accounts, so it all makes sense now.
Been spec’ing one out for our new home. Golf Simulator Forums has a ton of great info. What launch monitor are you looking to get? Some great ones coming out this year in the $3k-7k price range.
Skytrak is the one I'm checking out currently but it's super early as it would go in our next house which we're searching for now
Got a SkyTrak simulator in my bonus room. Nothing too fancy, just a mat and nice net and use an iPad. Love it, although I have to be careful because it kills my elbows if I overuse it. I used Rain or Shine Golf and had a great experience.
Skytrak here. Play online almost nightly on TGC 2019 with people. Greatest purchase of all time for me. Happy to to answer any questions you have
Yes. My situation is probably different from a lot of people but maybe not entirely on this board. Competitive growing up, reached + post high school, life got in the way for a long time and is even more in the way with my toddler. I need reps and don’t have the time to get them. Swinging with close to realistic feedback after the day ends is paying off. But I feel like I get my actual money’s worth throwing back beers while sim playing Pebble or whatever with good company
Just got my Ryder Cup tickets delivered. I wanted to wait for Limerick but this course was too tempting. Hoping for some nice crisp temps.
I want one day of 50 with rain and wind. Hopefully not Friday because that would make my round at Erin Hills a bad time
