Yeah, talking shit on common grounds is silly.
The course where 1 and I play has been getting abused as of late
Even CPG getting in on it
I mean I went driver wedge on a par 5 there
Yeah...on 9. It's a short par 5 most days as it heads directly north, so in the summer when the wind is directly out of the south, it's getable.
Don't act like it's some executive course. I know you didn't exactly light it up.
I was smiling while I was typing waiting for you
Looks like it's 7,100 from the tips. That’s pretty legit
Jigga man doesn’t play the tips
Me neither mostly
My ego doesn’t need that push. I play golf to have fun and it’s a lot more fun hitting mid irons into missed greens than long irons into missed greens
well the pictures were removed but a blast from the past
If we’re making fun of anyone it should be Nantz. He’s the king of awkward television moments. Him saying “you got this” at :45 is fucking hilarious
I know of one tip he plays with...
That’s only be cause nobody else will!
Itd be nice to have Nantz around saying, “You got this” to me on demand. Sadly, he doesn’t appear to be on Cameo
Look, I've no doubt it was an emotional moment for Nick but it just struck me as performative. I guess I'm just a jaded asshole. Excuse me while I vocally remind myself to "Breathe, breathe breathe..."
Not sure how I am just seeing this, but Cam Smith and Marc Leishman to LIV.
Okay that one sucks
Has been the rumor for awhile. Really sucks.
I kinda understand Aussies being more open to this. They would probably prefer to play an elevated Asia tour and a few events at home.
Are they out of the presidents cup then? Or going to officially leave afterwards
Cam Smith isn't leaving Florida.
Cam leaving hurts
New Coore Crenshaw course in Alabama. Opening fall next year. I haven’t had the chance to walk it, just looked at it by boat. Will probably be the best course in the state.
What part of Alabama?
It's on Lake Martin between Birmingham and Auburn.
Hope they have slips there that can accommodate my boat
Damn had no clue about this project. Having limited knowledge of Coore/Crenshaw courses, is it really expected to be the best in the state?
My wife has applied for jobs in Homewood and Alabaster. Could be our home for the next 3 months
Why would Cam Smith leave now when a) there is no LIV event for a while and b) he'd have a huge chance at winning the FedEx Cup?
maybe they gave him a deadline to decide for a large amount of money?
hes not leaving now. It’s based off of a comment from another Aussie golfer saying he’s gone. He’ll leave after the Pres Cup
Not sure why anyone would be surprised by this. He basically said he was going in the British Open press conference.
Odds are pretty good! Their portfolio of originals and remodels is as good or better than any other modern architect. I’m sure someone on here will call them overrated though….
and he’s in a great spot from a major standpoint as he has exemptions to all for the next five years I believe. So he actually has time to let OWGR sort itself out
holy shit what a list! that's awesome. Hopefully I'll know someone that can get me on there!
Reading through the tea leaves, he was on the fence about going and probably wouldn't have but after locking in 5 years to all the Majors, he saw low/no downside and signed up.
If this opens the floodgates for the Xanders, Cantlays, etc. to go as well post Presidents Cup, you can probably make a case his par save on 17 altered the course of golf history
we will play some golf. Just PM me
The one guy familiar with Omaha equated common grounds to miracle hills, just flat back and fourth where you feel like you’re playing the same hole over and over. No idea. Not really going to deter me. I had a few people tell me bear dance was a stinker of a course and I loved it.
But for my September trip I’m thinking arrow head common ground on the first day and switching to the ridge on the second day. Leave fossil trace for next June when I head out to play with my uncle.
Also common ground is currently rated(by some random website) as the 13th best course in Colorado.
Judge seems to suggest her prior is to side with PGA Tour on the injunction
oh please do
LIV atty's re just adamant about no actual $ figures being read allowed. Pretty funny given its not about the money.
This judge isn't having this attorney's bullshit... this is great.
There’s no winner here. We are the losers because golf is entering a fractured era.
good timing for this to come out, for all the LIV whatabout boys.
