If you have Twitter Pete papas has one I believe. The titleist 4 plus bag that I just picked up is the best golf bag I’ve ever owned.
I ordered a linksmaster in December and it still isn’t in. Almost want to tell the pro to cancel it as apparently they are coming out with a new version
So an amateur got 4th in this tournament which is probably like $300-350k Can he just go pro and collect that money and drop out of school? Is that enough money to make it worth it?
Don’t believe you can claim the winnings if you declare to play as an amateur before the tournament. I may be wrong though. I think for USGA events they changed it so the Am can choose to donate their winnings to charities of their choosing.
This is correct. Can’t change after qualifying. Jason Bohn’s story of just telling his college coach he’s taking the million and leaving the team on NLU is probably my favorite podcast episode ever.
He was looking like he'd be on track to be out of professional golf by 30 so by all means get that guaranteed $ right away
I wasn’t sure on him but guess he was just waiting for the first US based event. From Morikawa and Hovland level hype to this, his game really fell apart in a hurry.
Had our club championship this weekend. Fired a smooth 82 on Friday that included a 9 on the par-4 11th, followed by a dub on 12, an eagle on 13, followed by another dub on 14. Fired a 71 Saturday and 72 yesterday to finish T-4 in the championship flight. Ended up winning the overall net and $450 in shop credit. Crazy game.
