I'm speaking to the fact that the tour has totally boned a once great event. It would have made more sense to have Pebble be an elevated events. It's the first weekend with no football and no other sports of any consequence. Plus WM is always going to have juice because of the party scene. Maybe Pebble doesn't want it because of the pro am piece of it
No idea if this is the same property/project. But I heard last year of a course going in this general area that was only going to accept 50-100 in state members. All others were going to be out of state by design. Going to be extremely nice and exclusive.
Hadn’t thought of that, but it’s a very good point. Hop on Briley near Tune and you can probably be there in 10-15 minutes.
I just view Troubadour as being different because of Discovery Land. Feels more resorty and less like a golf club. Seems very popular with the Brentwood/Franklin crowd, too.
Morikawa is working with Blackwell today at Greystone in Birmingham. Guess he’s chasing some of that Homa magic.
Playing a tournament at Innisbrook, Copperhead course on the 20th. Love playing courses that the pros play. Need to watch some video of past tournaments to get a feel for the course. Will be my first time there and I hear the swag bag for this tourney is incredible.
My house is in this picture. Rent for two weeks? Yes sir. Edit: that whole piece of land can't be true but McKie family owns a lot of land on the river there.
This is the problem with Shotgun Start. It plants stupid shit like this in your head and if you ever let references slip out in real life you sound like a lunatic
Yeah, it went from standing water and hail on the greens to playable in like 15 minutes after I posted that.
For whatever reason, this event comes up with its own handicapping system that doesn’t use current GHIN handicaps. Guessing to manipulate the top of the leaderboard. Larry Fitzgerald was in a similar position when his team won.
Maybe Soly will shed some light on that on the pod today. Seems extremely dumb to use anything, but GHIN
How does Rodgers supposedly have a 3 with these scores? I'm also confused about the two scores already posted from Feb 23. That 83 from the blues at Green Bay CC is what a 10 would shoot.
