There’s a lawyer in s fl that does it just so you’ll say something to him, he leaves and then sues for discrimination and ADA compliance
Just the brutally rough winter weather here in L.A. that is undermining these players. Hard to watch them struggle.
I play with a dude pretty regularly that has a prosthetic leg. He’d never do that. He'll drive up as close to a green that he can, but never on it.
I rather enjoy it. Count me in for any network that combines Nantz velvety tones and Balionis hammers.
I made a move into the top 3 in our fantasy league! It's half as exciting as seeing who's in dead last place.
I think every week Speith has shown promise the first couple rounds only to completely dismantle over the weekend. Not a great ROI on my first pick.
So I went on one trip this winter for 3 days. Other than that have played 2-3 times since November. I've played 3 times in February and am arguably playing the best golf of my life.
Torrey Pines North: I booked a non-resident tee time 3 days early when they got posted, got a spot for a single at 7:40am. Girlfriend came along to walk with me; normally they say you have to rent a cart and spectators have to stay in, but it was cart path only and I wanted to walk. They said we needed to sign a waiver for her but when I talked to the starter I just said she's familiar with walking with me and will stay out of the way, so he said to just call her my caddie and it'd be fine. They got a ton of rain the day before so there was a lot of casual water making the course play slightly longer. The rough was still up and pretty juicy, I did a decent job of staying out of it and managed to find my ball every time that I got off line but it's very easy to lose it out there. The guys in front of us were some of the slowest players I've ever seen and the marshal talked to them but didn't enforce anything. They were out of position very early on and we couldn't even see the group ahead of them while waiting. I hit the ball decent but struggled on and around the greens for a while before figuring them out. It was an 86 that could've easily been 80, overall an awesome experience and I'd definitely do it again. Pics left to right: two different shots of holes I can't remember, standard lie in the rough, approach into the 10th, 15th tee, and 16 fairway looking back at the tee
I'm glad she was there to be my personal photographer, got several really good ones but that's definitely my favorite. My playing partners were awesome and took a couple of us on 16 that turned out well too but no one here needs to see my ugly mug
Leaving tmrw for Secession again. Then playing Ocean Forest next wknd while Secession has a legacy tourney.
I have the one made by Watson golf. Pretty easy to use. I have another yellow contraption that the name escapes that I use that helps me get the right wrist hinge and face position at the top but doesn’t give as much feedback as the hanger. It’s a lot less cumbersome imo. Really depends what you are looking for. Edit: added picture
Called the shop that did my fitting for the rest of my bag about doing a putter fitting. They said that on putter fittings the $100 fee is not included when you purchase from them. Pretty disappointing, kind of a steep added cost when looking at Scotty's or that range
