You haven’t read anything I’ve wrote. Pick your ultimate scramble team. I’m picking the three guys I want to play with based on the criteria
And then a different argument started. Why do you say I haven’t read your posts? I even took the time to quote specific lines from them, what are you talking about?
Win the masters once and you spend the rest of your life as a member of Augusta. Win 100 tour events and no majors and you’re a cautionary tale about choking under pressure.
Quoted completely out of context then. If you would rather spend a round playing golf with Jimmy Walker than AK i don’t know what to say.
Lol at the fields being better in 2014 when Jordan wasn't at the height of his powers and tiger was hardly playing compared to 2008-2010 when Tiger was number one in the world.
Lol Jimmy Walker Some of you guys are ridiculous. Ever played in a scramble before? It's always the teams that have players of different skill sets who win/do well. Among pros Jimmy Walker does most things good but nothing great. Shit, give me fucking Luke Donald before Jimmy Walker. Luke may only hit it 250 off the tee but at least he's nails from 150 in and putting.
I mean he maxed out at 2 wins in a season. If he was so much more talented than Walker, why does Walker win more? That doesn’t make sense and isn’t a real argument
For the (probably) 10th time someone has mentioned this....it isn't a conversation about who has had a better career
I never said it was, but winning and especially winning a major is indicative of talent. That cannot be denied or proven wrong
They got rained on pretty hard on the back 9 of the West. Those greens complexes showed out in the photos though.
1. You're not really a member 2. You win 100 tournaments, you're probably playing at Augusta every year until you retire any ways. 3. You're going to have a lot more money than just winning at Augusta once (if that is the 1 major you win). If I have 100 wins, I don't mind being called the choker.
They were out there with Zac Blair. I know we all think we'd love to spend all of our time playing elite courses but it's pretty interesting when you hear pros talk about the travel wearing them down or just needing time off. ZB is the polar opposite, he's talked about how much he loves to play and is constantly playing other courses when possible, even sometimes very early in a tournament week if it's in the area. It's impressive
It’s an interesting conversation. I’d rather be a champion as the sport defines it, but a long consistent career of winning would obviously be pretty satisfying. And more lucrative. But your legacy would be tragic.
Not in any way comparable. A golf major championship is your own accomplishment and no one else’s. The question is would I rather win a pga champ or scores of other events. Bc the answer is easy for me for the other three majors. I think if it comes down to the pga scenario I’d rather have the wins.
Beat me to it. If you win 100 career events, you're probably going to be able to snag a real membership at Augusta.
Ok guy going to his grave holding jimmy walkers cack. That’s an odd hill to die on no matter what forum.
It’s called having an opinion. I have no problem justifying my opinions. You can be an edgy fag and say I’m dying on a hill I don’t care. You’re dumb
dude nobody talking about Jimmy Walker cares about a mythical scramble. It was in response to the myth that Kim “in his prime” was incredible. That’s absurd. There are 50 golfers like him just within the last decade.
I'd take either of the hypothetical between tour wins/major victory because they would both involve me being good enough at golf to play professionally at a high level. Along with making enough money that I wouldn't have a financial concern for my entire life.
