I stayed in a place that was south from the course one year, a regular $39 a night place that we got for $225. After arriving, we went to walmart and bought our own bedding.
This place had "pleasant" review on expedia or wherever I booked it. I'm sure it will suck though. It is a Baymont Inn and Suites.
No longer have that place. But if anyone comes into town and wants to grab a beer, let me know. I will hold up a sign saying "TMB = Free Boobs" And if you come, ya gotta go to hooters at least one time. They go all out and put on a faking show for masters week.
Whats a good site to do fantasy golf? Espn doesnt have it so guessing yahoo or PGA.com? I watch pretty much every tourney so may as well try and get a fantasy group together.
Going to do a Master's Pool at work. Each team is 10 or 20 bucks, you pick 4 guys who all have to make the cut, most under par wins. I'll payout the top 4-5 spots. Anyone participated in one more fun than that?
There's usually a big online one that goes live the week or so before. Think it's like a 10 or 20 buy a in
Not sure if this has been discussed, but could Tiger have significant nerve damage. Given so much of the golf swing is feel and tempo, if his nerves are destroyed, it's all over
Ive organized one the past 2 years that is fun. Split the field into these tiers based on vegas odds: A: top 3 B: 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14 C: 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15 D: Next 15 E: Rest of Field Pick: 1 from A, 1 from B, one from C, 2 from D, 5 from field. So 10 golfers total - Lowest 6 scores from your team count each day - Lowest Cumulative 4 day score wins - If less than 6 of your players make the cut, your team is eliminated. Here's a screenshot of my excel sheet from 2 years ago: Spoiler
Oh, I'm sure he'll try again and shut it down after 13 holes again... I'm about as big of a tiger fanboy as there is and I've given up seeing him ever even completing a tourney again, let alone competing.
I haven't slept in days and had to sleep on a hospital couch and this made me laugh And yes, yes I am.
I've been so deprived of golf that I've started the process of re-painting my SC. Stripping the paint was a bigger bitch than I imagined, but it's still amazing that the Custom Shop charges as much as they do for this.
Only have the 3 dots in the cavity drying as of now. Next step is the sole and will make sure to take pics along the way.
