His new video from Nike. The range and indoor short game part is filmed at OSU golf club, The drive up to a club and the locker room shots are filmed at Double Eagle.
Planning a trip out to Palm Springs to golf from March 4-11th. Anyone been and have some recommendations for golf and what to do? Never been
RalfBully I was going to let fish respond since he has played more courses out there. People always recommend Desert Willow Firecliff. I've played both Indian Wells courses and they are fun. Silver Rock. The Pete Dye Resort Course was fun at the Westin. The Gary Player Signature Course was also fun but harder than the Dye course. Depends on your skill level. My friends liked the PGA West courses, never played those.
I saw this while looking for Draftkings PGA info, it's a one and done contest with earnings per week with $50 entry fee. Starts next week and it looks like the guys running it are some fantasy golf writers. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1...Svdf6Y3AQx5Lb-wPKYyYZHSi9WDg/viewform?c=0&w=1
Awesome. Last year was the first year I actually got into golf. Joined a club and got my handicap down to a 15. Hoping to get much better in year 2. Not sure if you or fish have advice based on a 15
Not me. I got to about an 18 in 2013 and had a kid in early 2014 and another in mid 2016 so hardly ever play golf anymore unfortunately. There are some good players on here so before Fish asks, post a video of your swing.
Getting driver fitted next Saturday. Never been properly fitted before so I'm pumped. Will have the new Callaway and TMAG stuff in so I'll come back with reviews.
eBros I meant which courses in Palm Springs to play as a 15. Didn't know if some would be a bitch because I'm not the best or something like that. Appreciate the advice though. Lol
Getting fitted tomorrow night. Trying to just find exactly what type of shaft I need but there's always a chance I go window shopping cause I'm a degenerate.
All the courses are pretty playable if you play the right tee box. Lots of old people in palm desert. We really enjoyed the Pete Dye resort court at the Westin because it was challenging but playable. My buddies were around an 8 and a 13. I would stay away for the Stadium course.
New Callaway stuff came in today. TMAG stuff next week. Figured I'd wait the extra week to test both.
The Epic is LONG. I don't really like the way it feels/looks but it was 6-8 yards longer than my Ping G I have been gaming for a year. And this was 10 shots with whatever shaft the rep had on hand.. Not dialed in in any way.
I think I'm going to buy one since my fitter sent me a text saying he has them in stock. Hell may do it tomorrow.
Fuck all youse guize... i ain't kicking anybody out this year. Let's have 30+ players at the end of the year.
I like the not kicking people out idea because then maybe I'll finish closer to middle of the pack instead of very bottom
That was a really hard listen, you almost feel bad for his ignorance. I did like him calling Isaac Newton a great American innovator though.
