Golf Thread 2.0 - Zach Johnson hates you and your family

I know of two people that have personally played rounds of golf with him. Both have said he abuses the rules quite a bit, but his handicap is legit.

 

If you abuse the rules quite a bit how can your hcp be legit?

 

Touché. I guess the point being an 18 handicapper can't fluff their lies enough to be a low single digit. You can only cheat so much.

 

If he abuses the rules, wouldn't that mean his handicap is therefore not legit?

There's no way a 70 year old man who is as busy as he is has a legitimate 2 handicap.

He lies all the time about mundane things. Why would we expect him to be truthful on a golf course?

 

I wonder how much he actually plays. I could see him being the type to demand people meet with him on the golf course.

 

Prior to running for President, he used to play about five days a week. Though it was rarely more than 6 holes at a time. He used to just helicopter into Ferry Point or Trump Westchester and hit balls, then fly out. Always plays the Trump Westchester Member/Guest.

That wasn't politics. Lying about your hcp is a nonpartisan issue. I would play Trump as a 2.8 any day of the week.

Insane that the above site even exists. Obama is also trying to join a club in Maryland, but the (predominantly Jewish) membership is trying to fight it because of his recent pro-Palestinian actions.

You'd think they'd be able to play basically anywhere they'd want, but most members at big time clubs don't want to deal with the hassle. Especially if they don't agree with their politics. Obama tried to play Winged Foot awhile ago and they turned him down.

Trump has been a member at Winged Foot for decades, and he obviously has a slew of his own golf properties. He'll be fine on that front.

 

Not when he has a forecaddie running ahead fluffing his lies you don't.

That is notoriously what he's known for. He's never lost his flight at the Trump Westchester Member/Guest.

Feel like there have been quite a few 58/59s on the PGA Tour (and Web) these past few seasons.

 

Tiger being paired with Jason Day and Dustin Johnson is kinda brutal. He's not used to hitting first after every tee shot.

 

But he is used to teeing off first every hole

 

I'm glad he's being thrown in the fire. Only way we get tiger back is if he truly gets back to grind mode.
