I think most of the top pros would agree too, based on comments they’ve made on No Laying Up.

DJ would be insanely hard to beat though.

 

DJ was bragging about the M4 after. Said he had only had it in the bag for a week and that he felt really confident with it. Sounds like we need #Jailbreak and #Twistface to make a baby.

 

To me, there are only 4 or 5 options. JT, DJ, Rory, Spieth and maybe Jason Day. It’s Rory IMO also because his peak game has him as a decent putter. I could make an argument for JT or DJ too. Rahm and Koepka are two that have the potential.

 

Have to include Hideki. Cantlay will be on the list in a year or two if his health holds.

 

Anyone have recommendations for Myrtle Beach golf courses? Looks like my two friends and I are down to the Barefoot package or the Legends package. Any suggestions welcome.

 

I like the barefoot courses over the legends

 

Just got back from Barefoot. My buddy’s family has a condo down there.

Fazio and Dye are both pretty solid. Didn’t love Norman and Love, but they’re decent. Barefoot Landing has some good chain restaurants that are good for game watching.

 

Duly noted. Looking like that is the option as of now since it seems like they are better courses overall.

 

Barefoot is definitely the better courses but Legends is the most bang for your buck, unless you plan on doing the play 3 get the 4th free at Barefoot.

 

That is most likely what we would be doing (3+1). Legends is intriguing though because it has the breakfast/lunch combo.

 

Yeah there's a lot of locals that take advantage of Legends with their deal. I'm just not a huge fan of the courses.

 

Missing the old fantasy golf. This one is going to take more time than I thought.

 

As bad as Yahoo sucked at dealing with tournament delays, the lineup format was perfect.

This is my first year playing so I don’t know what the old way was but this lineup was really hard. The average is 16.6k, but it felt like 60-70% of the players cost more than that.

I like this format, I just wish the page was a little more user friendly with data available to make lineup decisions. Maybe if I access it on a pc instead of my phone that will help.

what courses do you have lined up? Stadium course is fine but beyond the novelty of playing where the pros play, there are much better courses in the city IMO

 

So this fantasy is mostly just who scores the most Birdy or better holes. I got more points today from Danny Lee than Duffner even though Duffner was 3 shots better

Likely Jupiter Island Club.. lot of crossover members from my club and relatively easy to get on. I also really like McArthur. I've got a connection who is a member at Gulfstream and Seminole, but I have to play with him and don't want to ask for the favor..... yet.

 

I would say Jigga you need to go hit the new Taylor Made driver and verify that it is good. It seems like it has extreme potential.

 

I’d be curious to see if Srixon comes out with a new line of irons there.
